Grand Hyatt Taipei is a well-maintained establishment, as what you would expect from the Hyatt chain. Its convenient location is a huge plus, with many sites of interest nearby: Taipei 101, world trade center expo halls, city hall, and Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall all within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and there's a variety of good food for breakfast. Professional... More

I have always stayed at Grand Hyatt whenever I'm in Taipei . We arrived very early but was allowed to check in - no problem at all. Checking in was fast and pleasant. The staffs in the hotel are all friendly and very helpful. Concierge arranged for phone charger when I realized I forgot to pack one. The lady at... More

Excellent rooms, quite and comfortable place. Great room and restaurant service, variety and tasty food. A great spread for breakfast and many more. The hotel is very good and close to Taipei 101. Highly recommended. More

As you would expect from the Hyatt chain, this is a very nice hotel. The property is showing slight signs of aging, but overall it is a pretty good property. Rooms are nice, and if you can get a good price on the club level, it is a very nice upgrade. Even the standard rooms are comfortable, with top line... More

Sometimes after reading a hotel review, I would wonder, “How come I didn’t get the same awesome treatment?” It all boils down to the luck of the draw and having all the planets in alignment. With the Grand Hyatt Taipei (GHT), it was pure perfection in every possible way and the stay of a lifetime. I have put off writing... More

It is such a shame that the only way to get anything here on this trip was to complain. Friday evening just gone and I wanted a buffet dinner. I am told the restaurant is full (it was certainly busy) and I have to go to another restaurant. I don't like the menu there so I ask to see the... More

The only hotel that wanted to charge extra for wifi - 2500NT dollars per day for wifi & breakfast package. Staff were more concerned with selling extras than offering service. Their English was almost incomprehensible - I asked one guy if he spoke English, only to discover he had greeted me in English. Our room was extremely disappointing considering the... More

As the hotel was rather full, I received a room on one of the club floors even though I lacked status with Hyatt, although I did not have access to the club itself. The room was spacious, my king bed comfortable, the bathroom a reasonable size. Drawer and shelve space was adequate. I had a view of the Taipei 101... More

Not worth the price. Staff don't speak good english. Room looks tired and tatty. We wanted wifi, but was sold wifi plus breakfast for 2500 ntd per day! They only told us that was the daily rate when i was asked to sign the credit card slip. There's free wifi from a provider nearby. Don't pay for their wifi. More
