Golden China is a small and old hotel but clean and well-maintained. Room is spacious enough and has the basic amenities. It's right next to the train station so it was convenient to travel around Taipei. There are convenience stores, coffee shops,& food outlets in the vicinity. Breakfast buffet was average. Service was okay. There's a souvenir shop in the... More

The hotel building and interior is old but quiet clean, room size average with a simple setting bedroom, amenities is a standard 3 stars hotel, breakfast quality is also average. The hotel located on one of the main road in Taipei, street food, local traditional market, mini market, bakery surrounds the hotel.

The hotel is near Xiantian metro station. Very accessible. The rooms are quite spacious but with limited wifi. Bed is quite not that soft. The hotel is very generous to supplies such as toothpaste, soap, conditioner and shampoo. Staff are very helpful especially to tourists who cannot speak Chinese. The room comes with free european breakfast.

We book a twin room with one double bed and one single bed but were given a room with only one double bed, they corrected the mistake quickly. But I was thinking what happened if they ran out of that kind of room especially if you check in late. Hotel breakfast was so so and not much to talk about... More

Second time stay! Next to MRT. Renovated in 2012. Free wifi in room, ok! One single room and one triple room booked at the non-smoking floor. Single room size ok for one person, toilet size big comparatively. Triple bed room and toilet size a little bit small for three adults. Bad smell from toilet of single room even though the... More

I stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights and would best describe the hotel as tired. At £67.50 per night via Hotels.com I was expecting something a little nicer. My room, although not dirty, was grubby and seemed well used. There was a lack of attention to detail by the cleaners. For example: if I made myself a... More

Well situated hotel and very comfortable, staff ultra friendly, greeted us every time we entered the lobby. We stayed for 3 nights. We would stay here again. Breakfast buffet a nice selection of Asian and European foods, with different fresh fruit every day. Right next door to the new subway line so we could travel all over the city easily... More

just 10 ft away from exit 4 of Xingtian temple station, the location is quite convenient Stay here for 3 nights, the breakfast is not as good as other taipei hotel, but I don't expect much according to the price. The hotel is a bit old style, in management, exterior, but the inner of room has been renovated. The room... More

My family of 4 (with 2 kids 9 &11) on 7 Dec & later on 11 Dec 2014. There is a nostalgic feel of this hotel (antique looking big vase all around) and check in was fast but you may see travel groups from China, Japan & South Africa. I guess many are here either on business, travel or golf... More

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The beds seemed hard when I sat on them, though I was able to get a good night sleep without tossing and turning. It appears to be an older hotel that keeps up with maintenance and remodeling, as the walls appeared to be plaster. The buffet bar for breakfast had good noodles and... More
