Suddenly I was enforced to warp my staff on and go to the airport toward to the far east. In order to be more precise the destination was Taiwan. Business trip means instant willingness to follow anywhere in the world even if it is on the edge of the world. I've never been to Taiwan, furthermore had a very vague... More

This was my second stay at the Ambassador. The first time, I had an executive room, which felt fresh and modern. With that room came executive lounge privileges, including complimentary breakfast in the lounge. This time, our budget only allowed us to book a standard room, and it felt like staying in an entirely different hotel. The room, although spacious,... More

This was my fourth time in Taipei,Taiwan and the first staying in ambassador hotel, the experience staying in this hotel was really good as the reception staff was very friendly and informative as well. The location is very good as it's located within a centralized location in Taipei City, Ambassador hotel also houses one of the most famous steak house... More

Need to walk quite a distance to get to places and eateries. But the property is decent and clean. It is located centrally but not exactly in the city. It is more for business guests. There are plenty of breakfast stalls nearby so more adventurous visitors will do well to skip the hotel breakfast to experience Taiwan small-eats outside.

As far as a business hotel is concerned this was adequate. Good breakfast but go early as it gets very busy. The location is good if you need to be central but a bit far from the convention centre. If it's a clean and quite place to rest your head in the evening this will do.

I was in Room 963, from which I could not see the sky or any of Taipei because the room's only window looked straight into a brick wall. The room itself was comfortable, with a nice bed, ample desk area with free wifi, a large flat-screen tv, good closet space with lots of hangers, a mini refrigerator, and a novel... More

So I guess here's the first thing, if you have a local book the hotel for you, you can get it for sub $100, which makes this a decent value. It's a large hotel with decent sized rooms. Everything was clean, though I do agree that it can feel a little bit outdated. The clientele is mostly Japanese and the... More

"If the changes in a Company are bigger outside than inside, the end is in sight" from Greg Welsh. This was my Feeling in Nov 15. We always stay there as my Company books this Hotel. But since my last visit in 2014 nothing has improved. rooms are small, old style and air conditioned is either noisy or didn't work... More

When you need a hotel not in downtown, but still central this hotel is a good choice. Staff is very well trained and friendly. The hotel caters for a lot of japanese. Rooms are good, but very Japanese (e.g. For a European the toilet is quite sophisticated). Breakfast is more Japanese as well. Could have a little more European dishes.... More
