It has everything that you need and service is excellent, however the room and the bed are a bit small. which makes tall people and big guys feel being squeezed. Maybe it is normal in Taiwan for having hotel room tiny. (same as in Hong Kong and Japan)

After a horrible experience with Regent Taipei I decided to give Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei a try this year and I really glad I did. I stayed in one of their deluxe room and the room size and deco is really nice. Room was relatively new as I think they renovated the hotel less then 5 years ago. The room was... More

Stayed at Royal Nikko for 3 nights. Absolutely no complaints at all! Location Very good location with subway, shopping, restaurants, and massage places within walking distance. Service Absolutely impeccable. Every single hotel staff including the cleaners are always smiling and very willing to help. Breakfast Very good buffet spread. Although catered more for Japanese travelers, there are ample bread, meat,... More

First visit to this hotel, a bit pricey but worth it. Upon check in, highly helpful staff showed us additional room options that fits our needs with a fee or any hassle. The hotel is in a great location, shopping, food and MRT all close by. Clean, updated and well appointed…..I would recommend….and most likely will consider on my next... More

I have stayed at the royal Taipei for many years and I rate it as one of the better small hotels i stay in. The hotel staff caters to a more Japanese clientel which is always a signall that service and food will be excellent in a hotel which is the case with the Royal Taipei. Some improvements II tink... It's in a nice part of town, with good restaurants. local food stands & shops (plus Starbucks, 7 - 11 etc.) all within a 5 minute walk. The room was an OK size; we got one on the 12th (top) floor so we were above the traffic noise. The concierge (Mr Lim) was really helpful & helped us to set... More

We stayed here for 3 days in April. Great location -- about equidistant to Taipei attractions. Service was excellent. The concierge was particularly helpful. Restaurants, coffee shops and shopping are all a short walk away. Our room on the 12th floor was quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff have that hushed Japanese manner, which is a soothing welcome... More

Rooms are big and the hotel smalls like ot si a Europeon style older hotel, quite charming. Make sure you are not to early to... More

This was my first visit to Taipei and I wanted to visit as much historical sites as possible during a few days' stay. The room I booked was a superior queen. And it was not a refurbished room. It was a bit old fasioned room but was OK to me. A heavy wooden door with a rond glass window partitions... More
