My wife and I were lucky enough to get upgraded from a standard room to a suite and were thrilled with the spaciousness of it, as well as the lovely views. Everything was high tech, and even the toilet was something special; one of those fancy bidet-type things. Although the Tvs were large flat screens, no hd television channels were... More

I lost my business iPhone during my 2nd stay at the Regent Hotel in Taipei. I couldn't remember if I left the phone in a taxi or at a gift shop that I visited on my last evening in Taipei. The women at the front desk of the Regent Hotel went above and beyond and managed to locate my iPhone.... More

I normally stay at the Grand Hyatt Taipei for business reasons, but as I had a weekend in between meetings I wanted to try the Regent's services out. The Regent has an old money reputation, much like the Peninsula in Hong Kong or the Raffles in Singapore - of times past, when there was only one Luxury Hotel operation in... More

I stayed at Regent Taipei last August and had a great experience there. The main gate of the hotel was under maintenance, so the taxi driver had a hard time finding the "new" main gate of it. However, the staff at the front desk proactively offered us free minibar as a compensation, which I appreciate. Check-in is also quite efficient.... More

This id one of my favorite hotels in the world – not only because it is a beautiful and well maintained property, but because of the absolutely outstanding service provided by all areas of staff. I have stayed there twice now and each time has been fantastic. They have a variety of different restaurants with different types of cuisine, and... More

I spent 2 nights in this hotel in June and I can recommend it unreservedly to anyone visiting Taipei for business or leisure. I was here to attend a conference, and the facilities were excellent. It is a big, modern and luxurious hotel, with high end shops attached. There are excellent food options, local and international style. The room was... More

Good location and the club floor rooms are pleasant. Not sure why you have to pay extra for decent internet. Staff are pleasant and service is generally good. Eat elsewhere. The restaurants are very ordinary and overpriced. Overall average and not sure I will return.
