Lovely hotel! Very comfortable room and great location, right between 3 mrt stops. Also surrounded by many food options. There was drilling every morning as mentioned by other reviews. Sleeping in was difficult because of the noise. The construction site was in its early stages so this might continue for awhile more. Overall, we loved our stay there and would... More

Iwas upgraded to a suite which is fantastic. A large lounge area. Large bedroom and massive bathroom. Newly refurbished but has a 70s UK style. Clean and well equipped. Free wifi in room but not elsewhere in hotel. Has a quirky little bar in the lobby and a jazz bar on reception level. I think they have gone for a... More

there is a large construction site facing the hotel; appears to be at its beginning stages (Feb 2015). Noise wasn't too much of an issue, but again, it's the early stages of construction. The hotel entrance is a bit awkward. There is a cafe at the entry lobby where at night people are drinking, smoking outside, etc. At arrival, you... More

We spent the weekend in Taipei on a longer business trip (3 weeks) in the far east. This was absolutely the nicest place we stayed. The decor was upscale and elegant. The location was fantastic with the clubs, restaurants and of course 'Taipei 101' all right there. The free breakfast every morning had a nice variety of local as well... More

I've been to the Home Hotel twice, on business for week-long trips. It's a great business-class hotel that has enough of a local flavor to make you feel in Taiwan, but everything and everybody is friendly to a mostly english-speaking clientele. The hotel is located in Taipei's business district so it's a tall building surrounded by tall buildings (and unfortunately,... More

I have been to this hotel several times for business. It is so comforting to arrive from a long day of travel at the Home Hotel. It is consistently clean and quiet. It is an area with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The breakfast isn't the best of the bunch, but the other aspects of the hotel make up... More

Stayed here for Valentine's Day, was promised a view of 101. The room we stayed in was right next to construction with prevalent jack hammering noises through the evening, and started early in the morning. The view of 101 was a stretch where you had to look past the corner of the window to barely catch a glimpse.

The title of this review would be a suitable summary of my 2 nights stay at this hotel. I love how this hotel is named and how the decoration was done. The bedding was extremely comfortable (bearing in mind that I was sleeping on the extra bed added at a suite shared with my 2 other friends) which made me... More

Stayed here for an event at the Taipei Book Exhibit. Perfect location for the Trade Centre and for Taipei 101 and local shopping and cinema complex. The informal coffee shop downstairs was a pleasant place to meet and I was able to have business meetings in the dedicated private meeting room at no additional cost. Complimentary use of the fitness... More
