The hotel is just 5 minutes from the MRT station of Dongmen which is very convenient since this station is pretty close to Taipei 101 (5 stoops) and Taipei Main Station. The hotel itself is very cheap and is an hour hotel which means a fair amount of escorts going in and out and moaning is pretty frequent. The room... More

If you ever find yourself in Taipei, staying at your grandmother's apartment with no A/C, sweating in the humid tropical climate of Taiwan, looking for relief and a little freedom to explore one of the most amazing cities in the world.... I highly recommend the Citizen Hotel. There I was, sweating at 5am having survived another night at my grandmothers,... More

A pleasant stay in a clean and functional hotel in the capital. The room had a comfortable bed, a large bathroom with clean towels and constant hot water. Although it isn't a modern design, everything worked fine and was kept clean with daily cleaning by staff. All staff met were very polite and eager to help. Breakfast had a small... More

It is a very cozy little hotel. Located near Dongmen station, really only a 5 min walk. The room is small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The Wifi connection isn't great, very very slow.very friendly staff. I will stay here again.

Great location near Dongmen station and Yongkang street. Furnitures are old and the hotel is dated but was very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

CITIZEN HOTEL, Taipei The best thing I liked about was the location. It' in the center of town, only 4 blocks from the 101 Tower which we could see from our hotel room window. Almost next door is a very colorful morning market, and a couple of blocks down, on main street, is also a very nice commercial shopping street.... More

Citizen Hotel is just a few blocks to the famous Chiang Kai Chek Memorial and few other parks where you can stroll at. It is also just next to a market where you can enjoy watching people buying meat, produce and dimsum. The hotel is humble and is no where near 5 star but the service is great, they have... More

First, the location is great. Just 5 minutes from the MRT at Dongmen and there is also a major bus stop there that can get you to Taipei 101 in less than 15 minutes. Make sure to get the transit card which gets you on the buses and MRT for free. As well, there is a local market right next... More
