We stayed in a Grand Deluxe room with window facing the main street watching over Shilin Night Market for two nights with an 1-year-old. Our first impression of the hotel was rather average as there wasn't really any room at the entrance to offload our luggages from the car. We appreciate the help from the staff but unfortunately an earlier... More

My partner and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is very well maintained with freshly decorated and modern rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the bath tub was so large it has to be seen to be believed. The breakfast buffet catered to both eastern and European tastes and had a very wide... More

It is a very basic hotel with no fitness centre or room service. Breakfast choices are limited compared to hotels with this price range. Granted I visited during the easter break so prices may be higher than usual, in fact it was just a few hundred cheaper than the quote I got for Shangri-la though the latter did not include... More

If you are looking for convenient location after visiting the Shilin night market, then it would not get wrong. However, it is located around 7 minutes walk from JianTan and it would be quite crowded walking back to hotel at night. Breakfast is not good as there are only a few to choose for. I requested to have double room.... More

Excellent location across from the famous Shilin night market and excellent attentive staff always willing to help out. The room was tiny and very cold (outside was around 9C at night) so definitely was not worth the high cost (the most expensive hotel I have stayed in Taiwan out of 9 different hotels) but I guess you are really paying... Staff were very friendly and acceded to our request having a room facing the road (i.e. Shilin Night Market). Room is well designed and spacious. For those who had purchased a lot of things. There is a corner which you could place your bulky stuffs near the doorway. Hotel is located opp Shilin Night Market (1-2 mins walk, just across... More

Clean. Rooms of good size. Clean bathrooms with modern amenities. Wifi was nearly non-existent in the room we were in. I had to walk down the hall or hang out in the lobby for good wifi reception. Despite a no smoking rule in Taipei hotels, including this hotel, there was still an odor of cigarette smoke from the previous occupant.... More

We booked at Grandee for a few nights in Taipei and the location is fantastic, just across the Shihlin Night Market. I love to eat and this is perfect for me with all the street food at night, and authentic Asian breakfast! The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is big with bathtub and rain shower. It is also very... More

Firstly, I need to warn that when you arrive at the hotel, the exterior is worrying. It really doesnt look good, it looks more like an old office building. (please do something about it and I will have nothing to pick on) But go pass that and get into your room and its great. I went for the superior room... More

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I am still loving it because:- - the room is spacious, very clean and comfortable - the furniture and facilities are well maintained - in-room free Wifi with acceptable signal - great location: 5 min walk from metro Jiantan station, which is only a few stations away from the downtown Taipei....
