We stay here for two nights. April 4-5 2015. Great location, the room is outdated with its decor and furniture , but if you treat it as an antique hotel then it would be different than using a term " old " and" outdated " to describe it. Which i think is interesting to see these antique but clean which... More

I stay in Taipei over the weekends quite frequently and I got one of the best value for money deals I ever had at Tai Hope hotel. The rooms are in good condition, and kept very clean. There're only two electric sockets and even the Taiwanese plug with grounding won't fit. I had to borrow a plug adapter from the... More

This place has a lot going for it if you are prepared to put up with some minor issues. The main pluses are its reasonable cost and location in an interesting part of town. There are a number of places to eat in the area that serve Western food and several places to get good coffee. Free breakfast is provided,... More

This proved be a great choice. Nice little three star hotel in a very convenient location near Song Shan airport. To get there from the main International airport (Taoyuan) take the 1840 express bus (less than US$5 takes 50 minutes) to Song Shan airport (now mainly domestic flights) and a taxi to the Tai Hope Hotel which is on a... With the rapidly rising room rates in many of the Taipei hotels, Tai Hope was a nice find for its price and cleanliness. Although the rooms are a bit ancient, they are kept clean and functional. The location is also a plus, with many restaurant options nearby.

I just got back from a family trip to Taipei. Stayed 5 nights in Taipei at the Tai Hope Hotel. The hotel is part of the chain of hotels named Charming City Hotels and Serviced Apts. It is quite conveniently located, at the cross junction of FuXingNorth street and Xing An Street. My sister took the airport bus and it... More
