Hotel is lovely. We had a large room with a sunken bath in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful. My husband had bought a WiFly pay-as-you-go card and was having trouble setting it up (website was all in Chinese). The staff on reception helped him out, phoning up the WiFly helpdesk and sorting it out. Good choice for breakfast.... more

I'll be honest - I can handle the weather, hunger, weird food, tiredness and other joys of travel. But one thing i MUST have is a decent hotel room. Location: FreeGo airport bus won't know where it is, cab driver probably know cos it is still quite a new hotel. So its ur luck, get a map from the internet to show them if they r not sure. Its secluded... though its the centre of business hub. 15 mins walk to train station. Ask the hotel staff for more... more

After staying in some pretty poor and exceedingly expensive accommodation in Taipei previously, I turned to Tripadvisor to give us some clues around better alternatives. No complaints...wait eeeer....if I was to complain about anything I'd say ehm... 1) The volume of my Jaccuzi TV had to go way up before I could hear it ;-) 2) a restaurant and/or a bar in the hotel would make it perfect. 3) No hair conditioner... 4) Quite frankly the location could be better Upsides! An interesting stay and a first for me to stay in a 3.5 star hotel instead from my usual Starwood hotels. A very near new business hotel that was opened in late 2007 that offers 5 star facilites ( like Rain forest Shower, Jacuzzi, Bidet, King Size bed, Complimentary In room Wireless / Internet, Buffet breakfast) at 3.5 star prices.... more
