The hotel is a small well maintained modern building. The rooms are generous in size, well appointed with attention to detail, rooms are clean and have a large bathroom. Sound proofing is good. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful, loads of choice and constantly topped up. The location of the hotel is within easy reach of MRT... More

I was very disappointed with the Roumei hotel. We reserved a luxury room through their hotel website directly. After we checked in and arrived the room floor - 7/F, it's found that the corridor was full of heavy smoking smell. After we opened the room door, #7001, the heavy smoking smell came out. We totally could not tolerate the room... More

It's not a high end boutique hotel but it's very comfy. Location wise not much of an issue. We like to walk through the backplane to the MRT station. A lot of Taipei life takes place in the side or back streets. There's a host of eateries on the way to the MRT(10mins walk) and they are pretty good and... More

The hotel is centrally located in Shillin, close to station and the night markets. I stayed for 3 nights as I had to move from my Airbnb accommodation before trip home through Singapore. . Hotel total cost for 3 nights at this about AUD245.0 which makes about AUD 80 per night. Breakfast was provided and it was a reasonable choice... More

Will come again. No MRT near by but taxi is cheap in Taiwan. TSA airport just 10 away (by taxi). Quiet Hotel and the breakfast was good too. free wifi . friendly staff were very helpful, I stayed this hotel only one night but every time I think of Taipei, I think of this hotel too.

Stayed here at the beginning of June for 5 nights with my husband and baby. The room was clean and the maids came in everyday to change it, they were very lovely. My baby loved the massive bathtub I loved watching tv and bathing. The breakfast was more like dinner with the amount and variety. The reception was not super... More

Checked in at 8:00pm and our room was not ready, said it was still being cleaned. So, we had to wait for about 10 minutes. That was the first sign. Okay, we still gave it a shot. Then, once we got into our room, there was some food crumbs on the floor and it smelled like smoke and the window... More

as a play to stay with no frills, this hotel is not bad. The rooms are a modest size and are equipped with very good bathrooms. The breakfast was very good, and there was a lot to choose from. For the price, I think there are probably better hotels to stay at in taipei. the hotel was clean and the... More

This hotel is like a motel. Not so clean. We had a difficulty to close the room door which means the building is old. There is no service at all. Receptionist always sits on chair and reacts slowly. No smile at all. Definitely not go again. Parking space included is quite nice.

I am from Singapore, and i recently stayed in this hotel for a couple of days in APRIL 2014. I just want to comment on this hotel for its bad service. Firstly, about the location of the hotel, it's really hard to find and most of the taxi drivers don't know where is this place. The surroundings has nothing much... More
