I paid TWD750 for 2 adults and 1 6yo for a private bathroom for 2 hours on a Mon. I expected a place which is more relaxing but I was quite disappointed when I saw the room. The room was dark with no windows, and the floor was wet and cold. I did not feel comfortable at all. The attendant... More

This hotel is very old and is the only "halal" certified hotel in the area. We stayed 2 nights in a hot spring room where the hot spring water gets piped directly into the bathtub in the bathroom. The room that they gave us was on the third floor and had no view whatsoever as it was facing the mountainside... More

I stayed on 4th floor during my visit to taiwan. During the night, i was awake by the noises of tour buses and people. You can actually hear someone walking on the corridor and the doors are not literary held to the floor - there was a few centimeters gap. We spent about 10 minutes to reach the hotel from... More

I did not enjoy my stay in Atami Hotel Taipei. First, it was quite a distance from Xinbeitou Station. It was a hassle to walk uphill to the hotel with heavy luggage. Second, the hotel is in serious need of refurnishing. It looks old and ancient. Third, the walls are not sound proof. I was awaken in the wee hours... More

we booked a private room for hot spring soak at Atami and the hotel next door is charging twice their amount. Public soak for both men and women are also available separately but you need to go naked. Was disappointed that the dark room was enclosed with no view. However there is a powerful ceiling fan that easily cool down... More

This hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the Xinbeitou subway station. Do consider hiring a cab with you have many pieces of luggage. The main drawback of this hotel is that it can be very NOISY, because many package tours stay there. Personally, I saw at least 4 coaches in within 12 hours and the tourists can get really... More

Hot spring triple double (3x double beds) room is very spacious but pretty basic in facilities. Room is L shaped. One side of the L is pretty bare. Only 1 free electrical socket in the big room. Had to pull out the fridge and tv (still an old small CRT type in comparison to big flat screens you get nowadays,... More

The rooms are very basic and nothing to look forward too. The doors are made of steel or somerthing metallic. The breakfast is really not as I would have expected as they seem to cater to koreans and japanese style food which has lots of cold and sour condiments something like kimchi etc. I could only take in the breads but... Service is pretty poor, especially in the Spa.  If you are not looking for anything special then this is okay. The staff seems to have preferential treatment for Japanese visitors- and rude to everyone else.  The staff in the spa is not only unhelpful, but extremely rude.  She needed us to wear a shower cap so that it looks good...
