This hotel is situated near the Taipei Marin Station. If you are given the right direction you can reach the underground shopping very easily. This hotel is also near the Mingxia night market too. Just about 15 min walk. So in short this is a good 4 star hotel to stay.

This is a 4 star hotel in local standard - but to me, it is comfy enough. Thou the price is not considered 'economy' - but it is located in one of the most convenient locations in Taipei. The Ningxia Night market is just within walking distance. The 101 Tower and Xingyi shopping and commercial area is just a mere... More

My family and I was travelled at Taipei. Last 3 years ago, we go to Taiwan by tour , when we stayed at Taipei is this hotel. First impression is not bad . After 3 years ago (2015), we stayed back this hotel , but it is different that my impression . We stayed at here a week, the breakfast... More

A place to bunk into while you might be in transit to one of Taiwan's coastal cities or hinterland, or visiting on a budget. We stayed here as our Hong Kong and Singapore offices decided to have a weekend retreat in Taipei. This was a relatively inexpensive well run hotel which provided us with their penthouse meeting room (normally a... More

Wifi in room almost never works and their response was, "too many people are using it". Not an excuse for the money they charge for the rooms. They need to have more routers and no excuse. Poor climate control like literally all other hotels we stayed in Taiwan in 17 days. During busy hours like after breakfast, two elevators are... More

About 10 of us travelled to Taiwan on a learning trip and the travel agent booked this hotel for us. Initially, we were pretty skeptical about this hotel as it was not an established brand and there were many poor reviews on the hotel. The hotel was only rated a 3.5 star. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the... More

I love Taipei, but Fortune Hiya Hotel gives the worst impression of Taipei to me. The rooms were dirty and the breakfast were poorly made. I encountered the worst ever hotel staff in that hotel. I asked for a male staff help in the front desk to make a booking to a restaurant. He refused and said I need to... More

This hotel was booked through our travel agent --and we (a family of 4) thought that we were staying at the Hyatt for 4 nights!! However, upon arrival at the Taipei airport--we were surprised that the hotel's name was spelled HIYA--there was something LOST in the translation, I guess. Nevertheless, when we arrived at the hotel-- we ready to be... More

Booked this room at 125US$ for a night in August. Upon check-in the staff was cordial. 5 Minutes after check-in in the staff called at room asking me to come down to make advance payment (Guess they forgot at the time when I checked in). I found the room Aircon not working. Asked them to change my room & pat... More

This hotel is nice outside but poor inside. The lobby is good. The corridor is modern. But room is small and poorly organized. Bathroom is extremely small (especially the sink). No Wi-Fi available. Small bed. Cleanliness is only acceptable. Air-condition is not working well (cannot adjust temperature). Breakfast is okay. Location-wise, it has some small convenience stores nearby (in Taipei,...
