We chose this place, like the other poster, from a recommendation in a popular guide book. The book raved about the breakfast...the hotel has had to change this because of the cost of providing 'a hearty western breakfast'. The Chinese breakfast is ok but the real bonus of this hotel is its great location near the historical sites, outside you... more

Stayed 2 nights as part of a self drive tour of Taiwan. This is a great value hotel right in the centre of town. Room was small with a fridge and A/C, bathroom was modern and function and bed comfortable. Reception staff spoke reasonable english and were helpful. Breakfast only OK.
