Stayed 3 nights last week on a business trip to National Cheng Kung University (across the street), and found this place (built by the alumni donation, I think) well situated, clean, and friendly. Their young staff spoke perfect English and were quite helpful on several occasions. Good breakfast (better than most American/European hotels, but not as fancy as 5-star hotels... More

I am staying here for two weeks for a program at the university. Initially I was impressed by the whole set up, very spacious rooms, wonderful bathrooms ; both a hand shower and the ceiling has a shower head that just pours water down along with a bath tub. The beds are pretty comfortable and they have water, a laundry... More

A Taiwanese friend affiliated with the university booked us in here for two nights. The rooms are nice and large, service was good and the hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was a bit bland and not particularly inspiring. N.B. if you want to use the small gym you have to notify the front desk beforehand and be given... More

A colleague booked us into the Zenda Suites; we were in town for only one night, and he suggested that the price (for a single night's stay) was much better than what was available at the Shangri La. I'm a hotel snob, so I braced myself. This is a good, comfortable, pleasant-smelling (yes, that's important to me) hotel. The breakfast... More

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel across from University. Easy walking to restaurants etc. Don't overlook a walk through the university grounds. Large, comfortable, clean and pleasant room. Fast and frequent elevators.

It is a very nice hotel next to the university. The room is clean and large. You can walk in the beautiful campus and get fresh air in the morning. Even the outside of the hotel is noisy but I did not hear any of those from my room. The breakfast is more traditional Chinese food with some basic western... More

We enjoyed our single night's stay here in the spacious room #1008. It had the most comfortable bed I slept in during three weeks in Taiwan. There was a good bathroom with all the usual amenities except for a washcloth (Always take my own anyhow, just in case.), desk and chair, comfy sofa and chairs, wifi access. The only drawback... Location is good within the NCKU campus, indeed the alumni association also works out of this building. Check in is 3pm, which is a big pain if you have meetings. I cannot see why they cannot do better than this. They do not provide any facilities to freshen up, and the way they look after your luggage by putting it... More

Had a business trip to Tainan for 5 days. We choose this hotel for its location in the downtown and also the proximity to National Chengung University. The room was very spacious and pleasant and definitely very worth the money. For single room, I was put into a room with king size bed and for a double room, you would... More

Having a family trip to Tainan with 2 babies. We choosing this hotel because it was close to NCKU (an university in Tainan) and there was 7-11 nearby. There was a lot restaurants with walking distance as well as there was a big mall (Far east shopping mall) with around 10-15 mins walking distance. The room was cleaned and new.... More
