Guest relations at the hotel was excellent and he (the Manager) made our stay very comfortable. Managed by the Kathmandu Guest House (KGH)...we did feel it was operated professionally. We got the rooftop room but unfortunately all days were foggy and we didn't get the best view of the mountains... (real dampner!) Otherwise, the guest house is very close to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as the Waterfront resort was fully booked. Both hotels were arranged by the Kathmandu Guesthouse in Thamel, of which this is part of their chain. Rajesh, the manager was an excellent host with a small friendly team. The hotel is well located in Lakeside in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the... More

The Pokhara View Garden Hotel is a modest guest house that looks like someone’s house with a compound around it – a tended garden with tables and chairs outside. The impression continues inside with a cosy lounge and corridor leading into the dining area. The guest house is clean and tidy, with the comforting atmosphere of a colonial era set-up.... More

The building is nice, rooms - nice, people - friendly, and location - a bit out of the way. The way I got to this place was via the hustler at Kathmandu Guest House travel. A real clever guy on how he drew a picture of Pokhara (at this point I had never been) and told me it was just... More

Nepal is an interesting when it comes to planning where to stay, keep in mind there are plenty of places to stay which aren’t listed on websites. The Pokhara View Garden is a decent place to stay if you want something off the beaten track with very few amenities for the cost ($22.00 per night / 2 double beds). No... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel after staying in their Kathmandu equivalent (Kathmandu Guest House). We thought the hotel looked nice and the brochure explained it was right near the lake and had internet, phone and TV. We were promised a transfer to the hotel from Pokhara bus station. Firstly the transfer was not there on arrival. By... More
