I stayed two nights in Barahi during my visit to Pokhara. The location is one of the best just a min walk from the Lake. Please ask rooms in the New wing which has better beds than the old. Pool is nice and the pool side bar is open for 24 hr. The hotel is highly recommendable for any singles... More

I have recently spent a couple of weeks in the Hotel Barahi in Pokhara. The hotel has an excellent location close to the lakeside and the main street in Pokhara. The room have a good size and I would suggest to ask for a Mountain View. The breakfast is good and with a good choice of Indienne and their continental... More

The hotel is in a good location and close to everything you need to see at Pokhara. Our room was pleasant enough and we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Breakfast time however, is sheer lunacy with far too many people being crammed into a small area trying to get to buffet tables.

We stayed at Barahi for 2 nights and the room / facilities were nice - we were happy with the hotel right up until we went to collect our laundry prior to checking out. We had asked them to wash a handful of items of clothing from our trek and they had taken the clothes without any mention of the... More

Wonderful hotel to relax & recuperate from trekking, close to the main hub of town. Great pool area with shady seating and lovely balconies on rooms. A very comfortable stay, if only the free wifi worked a bit better.

Good hotel within walking distance to lake, shops, restaurants and bars. Only problem was that there was always a musty damp smell in the room. Was nice to have a swimming pool where waiter service was very good. Breakfast was ok with fruit, cereals, toast and egg bar. Don't know about restaurant food as always ate in one of the... More

Great location and lovely grounds. The rooms are very large and clean. Service in the restaurant is a little slow and very pricey. Would certainly stay here again for a short time in Pokhara. Very close to all the action in the local streets.

Would never go there again. Very over priced and extremely bad service from the hotel manager. No interest in us. Wifi is additional and very expensive. Beds were so hard we didn't sleep all night. Rest of the staff seems to be ok and friendly.

This is one of the good hotels in Pokhara town. We stayed here for 2 nights. It is very near to the lake and the shopping area. If you are visiting Pokhara for adventure activity, shops and agencies are very near to the hotel. It has good restaurant, swimming pool and rooms. As such the rooms are small and bit... More
