The best place to go in whole Pokhara! An amazingly beautiful place, with comfortable rooms and a paradise garden. The staff was always helpful and gave me a lot of tips where to go and what to do. Like in all touristic places in nepal also in Pokhara some people try to rip tourists, but as long as you follow... More

I would recommend a room here most definitely. The accommodations are very good and the whole villa is spotless. The price is extremely reasonable, and you can catch some mountain peaks from the balcony when the clouds cooperate. The family running the hotel is extremely generous and hospitable. When I was sick for a day, the 'manager' offered to run... More

We stayed at Hotel Temple Villa for three nights in mid-September, as a group of 7, and we had a great time there. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, the facilities are clean, and the stuff is simply wonderful. Thumbs up, we will surely come back! Thank you!

We spent a few nights in Pokhara before and after our trekking. We were two families with each 3 children. We couldn't imagine a better place for us to stay. The hospitality offered by the owner and his family was marvellous, our children were warmly welcome and they had a great time playing in the spacious yard, we won't forget... More

Very peaceful place with a beautiful garden. It is run by family and you'll feel very welcome there. We spend 5 nights there and it was worth every penny we paid - best accommodation in our 3 weeks holiday in Nepal & India.

I happened across this place by chance when I was wandering along the street as I was quite taken with the garden, which seemed peaceful and well cared for. It proved a very pleasant place to stay for 6 nights. It is just that bit up from the main drag and the lake so iit is reasonably quiet and you... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rather than us trying to explain who we are, we thought it was best to provide the review that the Lonely Planet provides for our hotel. We have been listed with them for the last 20 years ... Lonely Planet Review. A short walk from the lake, down the street beside the Standard Chartered Bank, Temple Villa feels a bit like a posh family home. The garden is full of exotic butterflies and the bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished, with large marble bathrooms. There are quite a few decent budget hotels along this street, but Temple Villa stands out for its neatly trimmed lawns and laid-back atmosphere. The garden catches the sun for most of the day, and the exotic blooms attract some massive tropical butterflies. Inside, things are pleasantly informal - shoes are left in the porch and there's a temple-shaped meditation room on the roof, fitting the meditative mood. It feels more like a private house than a hotel and the marble corridors are cool and quiet. Rooms are simple but tastefully furnished and well cared for - the doubles with private bathrooms are sunnier and more inviting than the smaller, darker rooms with common bathrooms downstairs. Showers are hot and prices reasonable - a good choice in the heart of Lakeside. Joe Bindloss, Lonely Planet author. ... more   less
