We stayed in Pokhara around our Trek to Poon Hill. We spend 2 nights here and definetely had a great stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were excellent and the en-suite bathrooms were clean. You can enjoy fantastic Italian Food just across the street and it only takes a few minutes to the lake side and... More

how lucky we were to land in hotel "Nirvana" in Pokhara Nepal after 3 months traveling thru India. Truly a haven for the weary to recuperate & rejuvenate. Our room was so clean & comfortable. We could relax on the balcony sitting area or in the gardens below with a real pot of fresh roasted coffee & teas. All the... More

Good beds, good food, and very good service. Quite a lot of noise from their generator at night, but it is turned off at 10 pm which makes it okay. Our shower was dripping and making a little noise too.

Nice and basic hotel in Pokhara away from all the noise (but I still use earplugs). I went there based on reviews from here and recommendation from my trek guide. I was glad to stay there as it is an easy walk to the center of town and lake but not too close where you can hear everything like some... More

nice and clean hotel in a central location and a few meters from the shore of the Lake. Friendly and helpful staff. excellent quality / price ratio (I paid 9 euros for a double bed room with bathroom).

I spent a total of 5 days at hotel nirvana and found it OK for the price range. Reasonably quiet being just off the main road and a good location in the southern end of Lakeside. Great Chinese restaurant two doors down. Nice big rooms with attached bathroom. Unfortunately for two days there was absolutely no hot water and the... More

Thanks for your review. I was very disappointed to hear that you had no hot water during your stay. I actually put in a gas geyser to always ensure that people could get a hot shower if the electricity was out (big powercuts all over Nepal!) and if it was a dull day and no solar power. You should have... More

Very comfortable and clean, nice rooftop terrace and garden to sit and eat breakfast in, good free wifi. The rooms are big and have good private bathrooms. The location was ideal, a 2 min walk from the lake. I booked paragliding at the hotel's reception and later found that they had used the most reputable company in the town. The... More

I stayed here with a friend (1000/night) before and after a trek with 3Sisters Trekking (awesome company. You should totally trek with them). Helpful staff and hot water. The beds are SUPER comfortable and they also do washing. Over all a nice place to stay. The wifi is really crap though and I found myself sitting outside trying to write... More

Thanks for your review and I am glad to hear that you found our hotel to be nice and clean. First of all apologies about the wifi but I have to say that this is a problem in Pokhara with the servers being oversubscribed and not so good. However most of the time it works fine for emails and skype.... More

Nice comfortable budget hotel. Good & Nepalese staff. Very helpful. On site trekking agency. I wanted to do Poon Hill but heart that is was very touristic. So asked agency for an alternative. And they proposed Mardi Himal with guide (Jun Nepali). What a trip !!
