Excellent hotel in Thamel. We stayed for a whole week there. They have different rooms to choose from. The higher the floor, the less you hear the road notices. The hotels's Nepali tea was delicious. The best of the whole neighborhood.

Beautiful gardens. Attentive and friendly staff. Basic but clean rooms. The hotel is almost in the centre of Thamel, an area abuzz with life. With all that living comes a great deal of pollution: polluted rivers, really poor air quality and abundant amounts of trash. I would highly recommend bringing a face mask for when you are in kathmandu. The... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights last weekend, and things could not have been better. I booked the hotel last minute (about 2 hours before my flight was departing from Delhi). They managed to sort out our preferred rooms, and even arranged an airport pickup (despite the late notice). Once we got to the hotel, a young lady called... More

I stayed for a couple of nights in this lovely hotel next to Thamel, quiet enough to find some peace but closer to every place in town. The member of the staff were very kind and friendly and support the tourists in every kind of facilities: taxis, transports and tourists informations and bus booking. The room are clean and the... I am currently writing this from Room 708 at the hotel and today is our last day before jetting off again. We stayed here before our trip around the Himalayas and returned once or tour was over. All members of staff here have been helpful, polite and generally wonderful people. When we departed for Tibet, our main suitcase (packed ready... More

+ I stayed this hotel during 4 nights. 2 twin rooms I stayed were very clean and good. The bedding was fluffy and thick, so I had good sleeps in winter season. View from rooms were very nice and peaceful. It took about 10 minutes to Tamel (main tourist street). but it wasn't problem. Streets were safe and good to... More

Me and my friend had been traveling in Nepal for 2 months and every time we had visited Kathmandu, we had stayed in this pretty hotel. There we received excellent service and the best tomato soup ever. The restaurant in the garden is more than lovely, we used to spend all day long inside, surrounded with flowers and friendly staff.... More

My friends and I came to Nepal for a friend's wedding. We were originally going to stay with her uncle but didn't want to intrude, so decided last minute to book a hotel. Our friends called the hotel the day of check in and set everything up. We stayed there for 4 nights/5 days. They have 2 types of rooms,... More

Stayed 10 nights in April 2014 & 14 nights in May 2014 in a standard double room in the new block. First couple nights were booked through www.booking.com at a bit of a premium per night (2-3 CAD extra per night). Please note for this booking a 13% VAT and 10% service charge are included in the booking.com rate. This... More

The hotel was really nice and welcoming. The rooms were noisy (I guess you get that in the middle of a city) and adequate. The bonus was a lovely garden to sit in. Prices were good, staff helpful. We stayed for 3 nights after travelling around remote west Nepal and eating with locals the whole time, but it was during... More
