very friendly hotel staff and comfortable, clean accommodations. breakfast is included and they have computers with internet to be used by guests downstairs. the jewelry store in the hotel is awesome, very friendly owner. we'll definitely be back to this central, quiet hotel when we're in kathmandu. more

I booked a room for two nights to finish off a three week stay in Nepal - I have visited before on the way to Nagarkot as this is their sister hotel and expected far more than we got. I would recommend a stay at the Hotel Ambassador for a variety of important, but different reasons. First off, the location is GREAT: just between the tourist hub of Thamel, and the major Embassies, in Lajimpat. Easy access, and central to the city.
