Booked superior deluxe as suite wasn't available but the room we got was all the way up in terrace but AC not functioning, no bulbs, yellow water,no satellite channels, no wifi in room.So we got the opportunity to avail the suite next day... Yep, this place is a good one! Super friendly and helpful staff. A one stop shop for all questions you may have. A nice hands lengths distance away from the manic Thamel streets. Good food, Good size rooms. Compared to other places of this price, it has an authentic Nepalese look and feel as well as a mighty fine grassy... More

I have stayed here in 3 nights. The rooms are clean and have a garden view. Breakfast is great. There are some thangkas on the wall which I think are antique. The manager organized a 2 days trip for us to nargakot and bharktanpur which charged us a reasonable price. But no wifi on the third and fourth floor.

I stayed here twice this month, I found the staff friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make you comfortable. Close to lots of little shops and always a taxi outside the gate. Power was an issue like most of Nepal but they run their generator and the front desk staff were will to charge my... More

This hotel is just outside Thamel, close enough to walk to restaurants, but far enough to be quiet. At $20 for a double w attached bath, its cheap by US standards, but maybe a little expensive for KTM. WIFI was reasonably reliable from the garden. has free airport pickup - but not drop off. The manager was very helpful in... More

We stayed here on two occasion's and both times the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms. They have two gardens to sit and chill after a hard days sightseeing the rooftop garden is lovely to sit and watch the sun going down with a great view of the Himalayas. The breakfast's were really good... More

Wifi only in lobby/garden areas, not in rooms and they are honest about that. Luckily there are many nice sitting areas in garden and lobby. Many centuries old carvings in lobby and other antiques. Breakfast very good. Staff and owners are really nice. Manager lacks people skills. Rooms are old. None of the TV's worked in rooms I had. Checked... More

Spent 4 nights at this hotel (2 either side of the Everest Base Camp trek) and it was great for accommodating us before we left and allowing us to unwind and relax afterwards. The breakfast is a massive plus and it's proximity to the number of shops and bakeries in the area is also a great benefit.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at this guest house and its beginning to feel like returning 'home' each time I have visited Kathmandu over the past 20 years. It ticks most of the boxes from affordability to ambience to service. Its great that its a tad out of the tourist hell of Thamel and in a typical... More

This hotel is situated right in the middle of Thamel market. It is a very old building or maybe the architecture is ancient napalese style. The hotel got two parts on is the old wing and the other is the new wing. We stayed here just for one night, the first room which had enough space to sleep 4 people... More
