Over the years, after staying in so many different hotels in Kathmandu, I have to say for service support this has to be the best. Every single detail was taken care off from picking up from the Airport to dropping off at the Airport and also the warm reception on Arrival at the Hotel. The Hotel itself is also on... More

Hotel Friends Home was one of the best hotels I stayed in whilst visiting Kathmandu. It's clean and modern with comfortable beds and hot showers. The inclusive breakfast provides for all (Western, Indian and East Asian meals on offer) but most importantly the staff were so kind. The staff here showed fantastic customer service, interest in customers and really care... More

Background: after going through the 2 earthquakes up the mountains (the second we had a very near miss) and with our nerves completely shot, we just wanted somewhere safe to stay for a reasonable price. We said we'd give this place a go for a night as the building (and area) looked safe! Budget: backpacker but splashed out on this... More

First of all I was so released to see from the reviews that all staff and the hotel are fine after the earthquake. We stayed six nights one month ago. Actually I only booked two nights before arrival but my wife was quite sure nowhere else she would go only after the first night. And I couldn't agree more. No... More

My husband and I and our two adult daughters arrived the day before the earthquake at Hotel Friends Home. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. Rooms were comfortable, clean and lots of hot water for showers. Staff were very helpful and the included breakfast was very good. We were away from the hotel when the earthquake occurred. When... We had been trekking in the khumbu and arrived back to the hotel friends home a week after the massive earthquake hit Kathmandu. We had been in touch with the hotel before arrival and they reassured us that everything was fine. On arrival we were collected from the airport and the hotel was just as we remembered it no cracks... More

We could only stay one night but knew right away this would be a great place to use as a base for visiting Nepal. It is the service and location that make this a great place to stay. Everyone there went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, even for just a one night stay. We were... More

Sundeep (mgr) was excellent. He recommended a restaurant Giaria which was the best we had during our 10 day stay in Nepal. The rooms have wooden floors (sanitary), clean bedding, and a nice hot shower. The breakfast was good and hotel is in a great location. I would stay there again.

Super Hotel Nothing was too much trouble at this hotel. There is airport pickup, ac,steady wifi, hot showers, jeep to Pokara and masala tea when needed. The breakfast is served by the excellent man and nothing is any trouble. Thank you Friends for the service. Lastly our thoughts and prayers are with Nepal. Stay strong Nepal.

At the outset I must pay homage to those who lost their lives in recent occurrence of earthquake and sorry for those whose properties were demolished and damaged.I also prey to the Almighty to give strength to Nepalis Bandhu to bear this unrepairable ..loss.Although the loss of lives can never be recovered .Due to this mishap I could not write...
