I stayed here before and after a trek. The hotel seems to depend on tour groups. The central location is good. The room was a good size. The bathroom was grubby with a dirty shower curtain, dirty bath mat, and a chipped bath. I can't blame the hotel for the brown Kathmandu bathwater, but I think the bathroom was unacceptable... More

The hotel does not have all the facilities that they claim to have but it's in the city center that's the good part. the staffs are arguably OK. It seems that the management is not helpful regarding the sites and sounds around the city.....a map of the city will give u the best support in Kathmandu. Toilets does not have... More

I must appreciate the attentiveness of the duty Manager in this Hotel;besides Front Ofiice male members are very hospitable unlike females,(there is only one);hotel room was very clean and peaceful.I stayed in 418 from where I could see good views of the city. Some travel agent was trying to trouble me but Hotel front office offered immediate help to avoid such... The Royal Singi is a 4-star hotel. From the outside as well on the inside, its quite impressive looking, but the only point on which it falters is the service. Service at the hotel is not up to the mark. Room service and housekeeping have to be more receptive to the needs of the guests. On the positive side, the... More

After I joined the rest of the group at Kathmandu airport we made our way to the Royal Singi Hotel...a hotel we were to use both before and after our Everest trek. On arrival we were greeted by pleasant and courteous staff and after check-in found our way to our well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms, although sometimes the water... More

Stayed here at both ends of an Annapurna Circuit trek. After the trek, just about anything with at least one of sheets, heating, a peg to hang clothese from or a toilet would have got 5 stars but this was a quite reasonable standard of hotel , well situated within walking distance of central Kathmandu and with clean rooms, hot... This hotel was booked as part of an organised trip to Everest Base camp and we stayed as a group of 16 people, two nights either side of the trek. I read the reviews and was a little nervous as I do like my luxuries! However, when we arrived at the airport and experienced the trip to the hotel, my... More

I have just returned back from Nepal and stayed in the Royal Singi hotel in Kathmandu. I stayed there for 2 nights prior to trekking too Everest base camp and then another two nights after my trek. I stayed there with my wife and prior to travelling researched the hotel on various internet sights. I was a little worried about... More

I had two memorable weeks touring aroud Nepal, and chose Royal Singi Hotel as my base stay hotel. I stayed initially, and then returned two times, and each time my arrival was handled swiftly, and professionally. I had three different rooms, and each one was very clean, and well serviced. My movements around Nepal were orchestrated by their Sales Manager,... More
