I stayed at this hotel with a group of 8 friends. All rooms were functional though a little 'rustic' as expected in this area. Bathrooms are OK though dated, hot water was plentiful throughout the stay (4 nights in total). Staff were very attentive and cheerful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Great location in central Thamel. Wi-Fi... More

I stayed here in March/April for the ninth time. It feels like a second home. As usual the staff are friendly, courteous and can't do too much for you. Breakfasts were great, served on a balcony from my room with my husband. I specially recommend the porridge and honey. Evening meals we usually went out into thamel. The porters are... More

Stayed here in March. Fine hotel. Quiet location, clean rooms. I had a room with a balcony and view on the garden, which made it feel spacious. I did not have breakfast or diner, so cannot say anything about the food.

You have many choices of hotels to stay when in Kathmandu and the Thamel neighbourhood. This place was recommended by a good friend. I got a super cheap rate through the online sources and for certain this was a good choice. I stayed there on two separate occasions between my trekking. While the rooms are dated, they are clean, mattresses... More

A really good choice to stay in the heart of Thamel. It's very well located, rooms are spacious and their inside garden offers a perfect spot to chill, read a book or have a tea. Each room has a private balcony overviewing the garden where to sit and relax away from the busy and noisy Thamel. The bathroom is big... More

This htl is very well located, at the heart of Thamel district, yet it is very peaceful due to be built a bit inside a side lane. It also has a beautiful garden that helps relax after a day of going around visiting the city. Price is reasonable, and the staff helpful in everithing. Breakfast is a bit poor though.

I fled after just one night. The garden is nice, but at present there are two large building sites next to the hotel. The hammering and drilling starts at 7.30 and last until dusk, and is quite persistent despite the power cuts. As a result of the current situation, the staff are down to a minimum and quite harrassed. The... More

Spent 2 nights at each end of a two week trip. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Hotel is a very quiet oasis down a dead end street with a peaceful garden, Internet ok. Showers were hot! Breakfast also very good with good range of meals.

This is a very affordable property (hence the three stars), but well worth the price. I requested and got a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. It's was a pretty view with the mountains on the horizon. The hotel and garden are a nice oasis from the craziness of Thamel. I found it walkable to everything I wanted to... More

Staff was inattentive and rude. They were rarely around and when you found them they were put out that you bothered them. The menu does not match what is offered. Breakfast is only a buffet and is not good. Even if you have only coffee and a croissant youre charged full price. When I asked to order from the menu... More
