I go on work to Kathmandu practically every month for about 10 days each trip and stayed the last two times very comfortably at Manang. Breakfasts served here are the healthiest, and savoury too. Its great location makes it simple to step out for entertainment or food any time of the day in the bustle of Thamel and the best... More

We stayed here twice (before and after our Everest Base Camp trek) and found the hotel to be very comfortable and the food was very good too. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant manager was extremely friendly to us every morning. Definitely worth staying here as its so close to the craziness of Thamel but being on the edge... More

I have been a regular at Hotel Manang for last 6 months. Have been staying atleast for a week in a month since May 2014. Being located in tourist friendly area of Thamel in Kathmandu, this hotel offers a good variety of food and a decent cafe in compact space. While this hotel was good for a stay in the... More

The hotel is in the average, well-situated, clean rooms but I think that quite expensive so the rooms are old, power is a lot of times out (normal in nepal) but the elevator never works, and also the wifi is not so good. I didn't like the service, I have some problems with the laundry service (my clothes came back... More

I stayed there for 1 night and then for 3 consecutive nights. the rooms are very small. wifi connectivity is worst. I got a lame response from the Hotel GM Mr. Suresh is that if the hotel provides good wifi in rooms, then guests will stay in the room only and not utilize cafe and restaurant services (seems to be... I didn't stay at the hotel per se but ate at the Thamel Restaurant down below - it was excellent - a great way to celebrate the end of a trek. The peanut starter was sublime and the Dhal Bhat was the best I've ever tasted. The evening was complete with cultural items and great music. What a memory. Thanks... More

Well following reviews from different resources and without verification I chose to book the hotel for the price and the location it offered. Hotel did look old but the experience of stay was far more horrifying than one can imagine. On the day of arrival, the manager quietly came to me and made excuses about hotel facing some water logging... More

Always I am staying in Hotel Manang in Thamel. It is a very nice hotel from upper middle class. The staff is very nice and... More

We stayed at the Manang when it first opened around 1992! Some touts at the airport convinced us to try it , and the price was right. The Manang was so new it didn't have shower curtains and the water flooded all over the floor. We were there for a week over Christmas/New Years and got food poisoned at Boris'... More
