Very good and charming hotel. Beautiful garden, big swimming pool, massage centre, cosy bars and restaurants. When we were there, there was a nice nepali dance show at night. We booked yoga class in the morning. I recommend it. Another tipp is to order a masala chai tea in the evening at the swimming pool area

We traveled with a tour group to Nepal. Dwarika's Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms, the grounds, the food, and the staff are all excellent. Although we used it as a base for sight seeing, I would not hesitate to use it as a great place to just relax for a few days.

Absolutely fabulous hotel in all aspects. Room was beyond large, fabulous huge bath, and extraordinary staff. Spa was lovely as well as massage treatments. Housekeeping staff put hot water bottles in your bed every evening as a special touch. Courtyard was grand, perfect spot for afternoon tea. Do not miss on your trip to Nepal!

The entire hotel is like a hidden gem once you enter through the doors. Beautiful wood carvings, the decor, old and elegant. Our room was beyond comfortable, we ate at both restaurants and at the bar and everything was well prepared. Service was impeccable.

The historic buildings with courtyard, is a very relaxing hotel with spacious rooms and very attentive staff. The main restaurant (serves breakfast, lunch and dinner) is very good. Asian restaurant I could do without.

We spent 3 nights here earlier this month and our experience was wonderful. There is an inner courtyard with beautiful restored buildings in it. Our room was large and clean and I believe all the rooms look into the courtyard. We did not eat at the Nepalese restaurant, but the food in the Japanese restaurant was great, and the food... More

Fabulous design incorporating elements of traditional Nepali design with modern amenities. Detailed carving is everywhere on building columns, in rooms on light fixtures. Inside the compound is a welcome relief from the business and chaos that is Kathmandu /food and service was amazingly great! beautiful swimming pool. Owners have done a lot to help with the earthquake relief efforts. Do... More
