My family and I spent five nights at the Dwarika's property in Kathmandu at the start of our trip to Nepal in April. Upon arrival we were immediately struck by the stunning architectural details of this property and the friendliness of the hotel staff. We were greeting warmly and taken promptly to our room which was extremely spacious and shown... More

I was in Kathmandu with my team of trainers from the United States doing disaster work. We wanted to spend our last night at a hotel near the airport. Dwarika's Hotel is a beautiful, elegant and peaceful hotel. We were surrounded by the antiquities of Nepal and this made the stay even more meaningful. We had worked very hard and... More

Beautiful hotel, lovely ethnic decor, unfortunately the personal touch is missing. It also comes as a shock that a hotel in this price range offers free WiFi and breakfast only to guests paying for deluxe rooms.

A very beautiful and historical hotel, once you enter the hotel the atmosphere is totally changed from whatever condition to a totally, peaceful very beautiful garden. The bar and restaurant is very very good and the service is excellent. I had coffee and lunch during my visit to Kathmandu recently and it is a real paradise in Kathmandu.

Contrary to the media, Nepal is alive and well and this hotel is a great example. The service is absolutely amazing and the staff is very friendly and eager to help and tell you about their country. The rooms are huge and have everything you might need. Good food options with three restaurants. The architecture is beautiful and historic. The... More

I have experienced many friendly staffs at hotels and restaurants, but this is the first time I ever wanted waiters and receptionists to stop doing their job just so our family could enjoy their company. Even after the earthquake, Dwarika's is still a beautiful slice of serenity in a very hectic city and it has the best staff I have... More

Eight years ago I stayed in this amazing hotel. The history of its founding and development was moving and special. The saving of architecture and artefacts from ancient Nepal with which to build the hotel was a far sighted and noble achievement. The service, welcome, facilities , food were all excellent.I remembered this experience and today found out that the... More

Stayed here for 3nights during our Nepal trip, overall it was an excellent experience. The hotel is beautiful as are the rooms. What we most liked though was the hospitality shown to us by the hotel staff. As well as being both professional and polite, everyone we met was so happy and friendly. We loved our stay in Nepal, if... More

It's totally safe and sustained no damage!! The Dwarika's Hotel is uniquely stunning and an experience that should not be missed--it is honestly worth every penny (and anywhere else, this hotel would easily be triple the price). I arrived exactly one week after the earthquake and as I entered the hotel, you would never know that there was any problems,... More
