Its an old looking structure just 10min from the airport. One of the best hotels in Kathmandu. The windows and door frames are antiques and the courtyard is very relaxing with a small pool and ample lazing beds and chairs (all very properly cared for). The restaurant serves excellent local food - there are 3 outlet. The Nepalese restaurant had... More

Firstly, Kathmandu city is filthy, polluted, chaotic & often depressing. Dwarika's is a haven of perfectness. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are delightful & once you step inside the main door you are calmed. We stayed in a Junior Suite, well actually we stayed in 3 different JS. The first, room 27, was a huge disappointment, dark & cramped... More

On our trip to Bhutan we stayed for two nights in the Dwarikas Hotel and enjoyed it very much. After a view days traveling through Bhutan, we received an email from the Dwarikas with the information, that I have forgotten an amount of cash in the roomsafe of our room in Dwarikas. I was really surprised, because since than I... More

We only stayed a few days at the beginning and end of a trekking holiday, culminating in reaching Everest Base Camp. Rooms were large and comfortable and the facilities in room were everything you needed. Staff were friendly and helpful, food choice was extensive and quality was great, also several restaurants to choose from, would happily stay here again!

We did not stay overnight at Dwarikas, as it is very expensive, but we were sent here to kill time between our flight from Pokhara and our homeward flight to the US via Dubai. Everyone was very friendly and we sat by the pool, had a shower, and ate dinner there. It looks as though lots of people do this,... More

We loved this hotel from the moment we walked through the doors. We stayed 3 nights before a trek in the Annapurna foothills and again at the end for 1 night. Both rooms we had were very comfortable with lots of character. The buildings are all beautiful and the atmosphere quite atmospheric. Its not a cheap hotel and the restaurants... More

Dwarikas is a must visit hotel although be prepared to pay dearly for the experience. The settings and rooms are amazing although little touches are overlooked such as the bedding is naff for such a quality hotel. Bar food was underwhelming for this class of hotel. Traditional Nepalese Restaurant set menu at circa $50/person with their wine at low tables.... More

Dwarikas is by far my favorite hotel in Kathmandu. If you are looking for a boutique style hotel with all of the luxuries of a 5 start hotel this is your place. The courtyard is simply beautiful with all of the reclaimed architectural elements. For a very special dinner, Krishnarpans is an experience that shouldn't be missed. After trekking, there... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at Dwariks's Hotel in Kathmandu. What a lovely, lovely experience to stay at this special hotel. Outside is the hustle and bustle of fascinating Kathmandu but as soon as those doors open to the hotel, you are transported to a place of beauty and relaxation. The staff is... More
