My visit was back in 2009 (Aug2014 is chosen simply because my date of visit was not available) Traveling to Nepal alone was an unforgettable experience. The long journey was well the spiritual journey I came for. The hotels courtyard is what resonates in my memory. The people, air, plants were amazing. The smells from the wood that the hotel... More

I visited Nepal almost 10 years ago and Dwarika's seemed the best choice (April 2014 is chosen simply because the year of my visit was not available in the pull menu). The hotel is actually better than shown in the photos. Staff, premises, food, cleanness, decoration...simply amazing! Owners did a great job preserving traditional nepalese architecture and art! Like an... More

Very warm welcoming with pleasant smile. Greetings offered and asked about when came across. Room was really nice and clean with lovely bed. I am fond of Nepalese cuisine and enjoyed the food. Furnishing and decors are so attractive. We loved it.

Great place! We had a GORGEOUS room with a huge bath and comfortable bed, and they did our laundry at a pretty reasonable price. The restaurants are very nice, people travel from all over for the traditional nepalese food. Hotel staff was excellent, and the courtyard and furnishings were really lovely.

I was here around 6-7 years ago and it was smashing. The entire place is constructed out of ancient wood and materials from Nepal's old heritage. They have a library, amazing gardens with dahlias and so many flowers - rooftop and ground. The people are really very nice and friendly; one of them went with us when we wanted to... More

Travelling with small children, after being 'out and about' in Kathmandu during the day, it is wonderful to come home to Dwarika's at the end of the day. The staff are very family friendly, and the girls loved the experience as much as we did. There are lots of dining options that start early for the kids, and the poolside... More

I have no words to express my enthusiasm !!!!! Great hotel , perfect rooms , great garden and very helpful staff. Marvellous traditional restaurant that all Katmadu's visitors should visit even if they do not stay in that hotel. It's a piece of jewelry in Nepal. Wish i go again some day!!!! RECOMMEND 1000%.

Our guide told us before we got to the hotel that Dwarikas was the best hotel in Nepal. Having travelled around the world and stayed in amazing resorts, we found it rather funny and really didn't expect anything out of this world. How wrong were we! Once we last the small and rather dull entrance we were instantly amazed by... More

I stayed in Dwarika's hotel for two nights. Loved the atmosphere, amazing service and wonderful staff. My room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was great and the staff made sure I was taking care of. I had an exceptional experience at the spa with Manoj. Manoj is one of the best masseuse that I ever had anywhere in the... More
