Beautiful building, innthe midle of Kathmandu ...as soon as you enter you forgot all the noisy dusty road outside! Room are nice, some nicer than othre one and difficult to know which one they will give you, missing a nice duvet , they only have blanket which are not the best in a cold night. Heating is not the best,... More

My wife and I stayed here for the three nights just past. While Kathmandu as a city leaves much to be desired, Dwarika's is an oasis of calm and historical elegance. It is appointed throughout with artifacts, furnishings, and architecture that evoke insights into the country's culture. Our room (403) on the top floor was not a suite but was... More

The real nepali spirit. Stylish and elegant. Huge rooms. We tryied a heritage suite, which was fabulous. This is not a Chain hotel, could be sometimes air conditioning is not perfect or insulation is not the best...but it is exquisite and this is Nepal. All the staff is very attentive and kind. It is a destination itself

Only stayed for 1 night but from the welcome on our arrival to our departure the staff ensured that we had a most pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the gardens/pool area looked to be well maintained. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive.

Dwarika's Hotel is a stunning place to stay! We were there for three nights, and I could not recommend it more highly. The service is excellent, and the accommodations are lovely. You leave the dusty streets of Kathmandu, and enter a serene courtyard, built and decorated in traditional Nepali style. Many decorated wooden windows line the walls looking out on... More

Nepal is full of art, culture, character and heritage. Dwarika's hotels have the combination of all these best qualities! I chose to stay at both Dwarika's Kathmandu and Dhulikhel resort for the total of 6 nights, together with 2 days city tour and 4 days hiking package from its sister tour company. It has by far exceeded my expectation given... More

I did not stay here. I was only there for lunch. First the place is so unique with the beautiful architecture and wood carvings. The layout inside the entrance is just so nice with numerous places to sit or lounge (e.g., cabana like units with white flowing curtains), gorgeous flowers and plants, and a swimming pool. There were some nice... More

Dwarika's Hotel has deservedly built up a solid reputation for being THE place to stay in Kathmandu. Although not wonderfully located, taxis can easily be obtained by the doormen to transport you around the city. The hotel is not as old as it first looks, having been built in an authentic style using antique wooden windows, doors and fittings. Rooms... More

On our trip to Bhutan we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. (one night on our way to Bhutan, and one on our return). The hotel is a compound with interior gardens and few different buildings located in it. It is beautifully renovated. The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. We had lunch at the main restaurant, the local... More

After 5 days at the Hyatt, which we loved, we walked into the dwarika and were pleasantly surprised by the traditional design and palace type design. The first words out of the reception were, didn't we want to upgrade to a suite for only $80. Since the hotel was more expensive than the Hyatt, we said no thanks. The standard... More
