I had to stay in this hotel because of my travel package. It's facade was rather ordinary. The hotel is close to the airport, a plus point, but is relatively far from the center of KTM, They did provide complimentary shuttle bus service to Thamel. Nevertheless, it was inconvenient. Check in was a bit slow. Size of my room was... more

They kept telling us that, "Someone will be right over". No one came to fix it. The only thing 5 star about that hotel are... more

After requesting again and again they did not change my room. I saw a Japani couple have canceled their booking at once... more

Hi, I booked my accomodation thru an agent. Got superior room for 3n and 4d with casino coupons. THE SUPERIOR ROOMS ARE THE WORST ROOMS YOU WILL EVER SEE IN YR WHOLE LIFE. This hotel is a BIG [--]it nowhere stands in 5 star category. I STRONGLY ADVICE DO NOT GO WITH OTHER COMMENTS ON THIS HOTEL THAT SAYS THIS... more

The room is good eventhough we come as large tour group. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. I can rest very well. Only one drawback is the laundry services. I drop my laundry with the Reception desk in the morning before 7am to have it done and return to me on the same day... more

To Whom It May Concern: I came to Nepal in February of this year, on what was a continuation of my adventures in this former Himalayan kingdom. The new Nepali Republic is still delightful, and my stays at the Everest over the last six years has only but added to my distinct experience of what is a most unique country.... more

I visited Kathmandu last year and had the most incredible vacation due to staying at the Everest Hotel ! It was very centrally located which made traveling convenient, the rooms were specious and very comfortable, the lobby was beautiful and they had excellent service - house keeping was very prompt, the restaurants served delicious food and the staff was extremely... more

I had stayed at this property once in early 2007 and felt that the hotel could use some renovations. This time however there were many changes. When I entered the hotel it was like I had entered a different hotel but with the same history and legacy that the Everest hotel holds. The food at the chinese restaurant which seemed... more
