Good location, very close to Budhanath Stupa. Nice pool, big and beautiful garden, good facilities, very kind and helpful staff. The hotel survived the devastating earthquake with minor cracks and is safe in that aspect. I really enjoyed my stay. Only con is; rooms need renovation.

I stayed here for two nights and could not complain anything. They provide excellent services. The room is super. The hotel is walking distance to Bodanath Supta. They serve the best breakfast included with your room.

I stayed in this hotel overnight on July 4, 2015 (post earth quake) as part of the Press Club of India delegation on the invitation of Nepal Tourism. Close to airport and City Centre, it's a lovely hotel with gr8 ambience. It's a rare experience to see stupas in the hotel lobby that provide a sense of serenity. The best... More

Upon entering exiting Kathmandu Tribhuvan airport, we were greeted by two men who we had arranged with the hotel, to bring us to the hotel. We were graciously greeted at check in and were offered a complimentary upgrade with our Hyatt passport. This card also gave us access to the lounge on the top floor, which offered drinks and small... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. It is very kind of you to highlight the hotel’s spacious and comfortable room and bed as well the landscaped gardens.... More

We stayed in the Hyatt Regency in June 2015 (post earthquake). The staff and facility was outstanding. I felt secure that if there were aftershocks, I would be taken care of (I did not experience any aftershocks)--there was even a flashlight in my room. I recommend this facility highly for its comfort and excellance.

The Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu is a beautiful place to stay under normal circumstances. Sitting in lush gardens it is an oasis in this busy city. Very nice rooms, overall design and great staff service are a treat. Having stayed there during the big 7.9 earthquake, however, showed me the true skill of the hotel's management and the dedication of... More

My stay was very brief so it is hard to comment on everything you could experience. The atmosphere is phenomenal, a bit old world feel with the wood throughout the facility and lots of stone. I awoke early and the staff provided coffee out on the upper patio so I could watch the sunrise. Wish I could have had more... More

Spread over an expansive property, the Hyatt is surely one of the finest hotels in Kathmandu. I stayed here for a week while on a business trip. Rooms are spacious with the usual amenities. The iron press for the clothes had a problem which was promptly attended to even though I informed the reception around midnight. I am a vegetarian... More

My husband I were trying to decide between Dwarikas and the Hyatt for a weekend 'retreat' - my husband lives and works in Kathmandu. Ultimately, our choice boiled down to price - the Hyatt is significantly less expensive and was willing to offer a special package (probably due to lower occupancy following the earthquake) whereas there was little flexibility with...
