Medtronic India had their annual employee conference at the Hyatt Regency, Kathmandy from 1-4th June 2009. Right from the word go, the team at Hyatt has been helpful meeting our every need for the conference. Across departments F&B, front desk, banquets etc have extended fantastic support. during our stay. Our requirement was 100+ rooms, multiple banqueting facilities, different outdoor venues... more

The hotel is close to the airport but a bit far from the town center and the tourist market. Overall, the location is not bad. you can get a taxi for a decent price. The rooms are very nice. I just loved the bathroom. It only lacked a tub. the service was nice. I had a breakfast lunch included deal.... more

This was my second visit to the Hyatt in Kathmandu, and my view is consistent - this is the best I have experienced in Nepal. Service with a smile, great pool, tennis courts, restautrants and an upgrade to club room for platinum members (I wish I would have been treated the same way in Hyatt in Mumbai or Delhi). Also,... more

Very posh hotel with nice common areas and a warm welcome. Price-wise the rooms are not so luxury (according to a western standard). We stayed there for 10 days for a conference and we've eaten to "the cafe'" restaurant every meal. Food was good but try to avoid cold buffet and be very careful to the well-known "Kathmandu quick step"!... more

When I started from the Airport, I had no idea where I am entering into. Kathmandu is a very congested city so keeping the city at back I entered into the hotel premises. Its amazing. Its mind blowing. From the entry to the back gate, it’s an overall great place to visit. Welcome desk till my room I was out... more

I stayed here for three nights while on a wee break in Nepal. The courtesy bus form the hotel waited for me even though my flight was an hour late getting in to the alarmingly decrepid Kathmandu International Airport and off we went to the property. From the moment I stepped through the door the staff could not do enough... more

The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful property located in Kathmandu. The staff is very friendly and the one person who made our trip completely worth it was Mr. Vijay Karki - the manager. He personally saw to it that our every need was taken care off. He even couriered back to me something I had forgotten in my room! The... more

Sprawling lush green lawns & a reasonably good view. A Hotel that has a look of somewhere between Nepal & Thailand from the construction. Rooms are large and reasonably well equipped while Service though prompt leaves a lot to be desired. The reason being that the staff are not well trained, but, like most Nepalese are courteous & eager to... more
