Hotel Annapurna is a classic hotel, probably one of the oldest and best located hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. If you want a modern setup ...look somewhere else. But if you wish to experience the spirit of the old world Nepal...this us the place for you. Being an old hotel, the facilities are a bit run down but adequate... More

Location was very convenient, room was clean, and service was excellent. What one would expect of a five-star hotel in Kathmandu, but not Paris. The coffee shop included a breakfast (part of room cost) buffet, and the lunch menu offered "western" options. Definitely caters to the European/North American business traveller.

The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Kathmandu. The 'Corporate Executive' room on the ground floor was large, with an enormous bed. Located on Durbar marg, the upscale market area of Kathmandu, and 10 min walk from the tourist Thamel area, this hotel is on one of the best location, but food very average. Rooms are functional and... More

The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Kathmandu. The 'Corporate Executive' room on the ground floor was large, with an enormous bed. At this time of year don't need the hum of the air con, and I splept with the window open. The swimming pool is great, a full 25m stretch. The staff are friendly and very helpful.... More

Located on Durbar marg, the upscale market area of Kathmandu, and 10 min walk from the tourist Thamel area, this hotel is on one of the best locations . Fantastic location! I didn't stay here but used its main restaurant, which specializes in Indian fare. I enjoyed an excellent dinner here. Food was first-rate and the staff were all highly attentive and pleasant. The wine list is a rip-off but nothing that one doesn't find in this class of hotel in this part of the world. But that still doesn't justify... More

This hotel bills itself as the 'Number One Address' in Kathmandu- a Five Star property. It does have a nice marble lobby. However, the rest of the property reminds me of something you'd find along old Route 66. Windows hang randomly open, curtains sailing in the breeze, allowing the smoke and dirt of the city directly inside. The rooms are... More

Just spent 3 nights at this hotel. The staff are nice enough but the hotel is no where near a 5 star hotel. I'd say 3 star. The location isn't too bad ( just a 5 minute walk to the popular tourist spot of Thamel ). The staff are friendly and can all speak good English. There is wifi at... More
