absolutely central, very clean, friendly people. Good service. Compared to the honest price, I strongly recommend you this hotel. I don't or think other words are necessary. Don't lose your time walking around for other solutions if your budget is around 12-15$ per day.

Placed at the outskirts of noise congested Thamel. No noise with Windows closed. Higher rooms have city view. Reception was very helpful. Offered to print boarding passes for us, before we left for the airport.

We stayed here on two separate occasions. The first we stayed a week in a very clean room on the sixth floor - flawless for 1000 rupees a night! The second we stayed on the first floor, the room was slightly dustier and the bathroom a bit less clean but still good value. The only real downside is the bad... More

Hotel Premium is centrally located in Thamel which is great for tourists. However, like any hotel in Kathmandu, there is a LOT of noise during the night - horns, people, barking dogs. The majority of the rooms are on the outside of the building so make sure you shut your windows. The hotel is supposed to have hot showers available... More

I found the Hotel premium to be convenient, basically clean, and fairly quiet. The mattresses were the most comfortable I slept on in Nepal and there was a nice warm blanket for the cooler nights as the calendar rolled into November. Having a private bathroom with hot water is a luxury after a long day of sightseeing. For $10 a... More

Stayed here for 1 night, after finding the Kathmandu International Guest House (our usual hotel in Kathmandu) full. Was just around the corner from the KIGH (perfectly placed for easy access to the main streets of thamel, without being next to noisy nightlife), and around a third of the price. Rooms and beds were clean and shower was hot. Quiet... More

We stayed in noisy Kathmandu for 5 nights and kept moving hotels until we found Hotel Premium. It was only $10 a night for a double room and being hidden down a lane way with a room at the back, we finally found peace from the horns/dogs/bells of busy Thamel. Even more expensive hotels cannot keep the noise out! The... More

Stayed here on three different occasions in two different rooms and found each stay excellent. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and tidy (though the floors could be washed perhaps a little more often) nicely presented shower rooms and the staff were really friendly and helpful. All in all I think it is excellent value for money. Ask for... More
