We knew we had booked at an inexpensive motel. The building itself was one we probably would have driven by had we not pre-booked. The room was clean, but could definitely use some updating. We did have free wifi, but the signal came and went and was never very strong. We didn't check out the pool so we can't say... More

I have actually stayed at this hotel at 2 separate times. My purpose for staying here is to sleep. It's a pit stop. It is as far from my home that I can drive in one day. Then I'm off again early in the morning. It is right off the interstate. It is cheap; less than 50$ and, most importantly,... More

When we arrived, the office gal had to enter everything twice. She kept losing the information on the computer. Walked into the room and WOW! There was tape on the ceiling above a bed (hoping it doesn't fall during the night), wallpaper coming off, ceiling was chipped above the shower, not all the lights worked, internet was off and on,... I wish that I could recommend this hotel, but I'd suggest staying elsewhere. Yes, it was cheap. Yes, it had beds. Went to check out the swimming pool. OMG! Mattresses were being stored in the pool building on the pool deck. Floor to ceiling! Water was still in the pool along with scum! I could not get WIFI in my... More

I wanted to not rate this hotel. When you only pay $50 a room for a team of boys you do not expect much. But the problems and service just continued to mount. It is hard to believe that the brand or the state have not stepped in. I had two rooms. One was missing the smoke the detector unit,... More

Old, run-down hotel. Service was deplorable and things looked dingy and dirty. Actually slept with lights on. The place was "loaded" for the evening, only because there is nothing else to stay at when you get off the road late in the day, etc...my suggestion is to by-pass Abilene Kansas and go to either town east or west of it... I only booked this place because it was all that came up as available -43 miles away from where I was. The room was no smoking, but smelled like smoke. There were nut shells on the desk chair. The two wing-back chairs were stained, one with something semi-liquid dried on the side--vomit? There were stains on the carpet. Worst of... More

A two night stay for a wedding. The restaurant attached to hotel was great. Reported multiple beer cans on top of light fixture after entering our room for the first time. No one came to remove them. There were cigarette butts all over the balcony and down below us in the grass of the courtyard. The previous occupant had left... More

We have stayed in several America's Best Value Inn locations and have their discount card. We have always encountered pleasant, friendly, and accomodating staff....which more than makes up for the no-frills atmosphere of most ABVI's. This time, however I would rather have NOT used the card, paid a little more, and enjoyed my stay somewhere else. There was absolutely nothing... More

We paid total 51$ for the room with two beds (three adults and 1-year old child). Hotel is right next to i70. It looked like they have older couple taking care of property and doing housekeeping. They did a good job. Although furniture by no means are new but the room overall left a very good impression.
