Firstly, the most amazing feature is the view. This hotel is just across the road from Le Meridian. So by staying here you pretty much get the same view for a fraction of the 5 star hotel price! The service is excellent and prompt. I had absolutely no issues with the service. The rooms themselves are very nicely kept. Soft... More

I spent three weeks in this hotel and maybe I got a bit tired of it. Location is nice, staff is friendly, the bed is OK and the heating works. This about the positive side. On the other hand, they had construction going on during the whole stay, even on Saturdays and Sundays. Hopefully it is good for future travellers... More

This is a lovely place, reasonably priced rooms with all facilities. Very clean rooms. Service is good. The restaurant and food is good too, albeit a little expensive. Four floors in all, the restaurant on the second. As it is located on the lane next to the main market area, it is free of noise and crowd. So a quiet... More

Charming, comfortable, friendly, cozy, convenient, warm, lovely.... just some of the adjectives that typically flow from us when staying at Yeedzin. I have no complaints about this charming guest house. It's not the Ritz, but it makes up for it in friendly, comfortable attitude. Rooms are variable, so if the first one you see doesn't strike your fancy, see if... More

This place is located about 5 min walking distance from the main bazaar of Thimphu. Resort: It is actually a Hotel and you do not get more outer space to sit and relax but the place is close to the market and the rooms are well designed. Rooms: The Rooms are very spacious, we stayed in the room with attached... More

There are many hotels in Thimphu, Bhutan, including some classy new ones coming up, but for all around comfort, convenience, and cost savings the Yeedzin is my consistent choice. I've stayed at this hotel many times over the past two decades, and prefer it each time. Yes, it has squeaky floors -- but that't one of the things I like... More

A great mid-budget place to stay within walking distance the main street and yet away from the din. Very cozy and comfortable, the people are very hospitable. The people are available at the reception much later in the night unlike other places in Bhutan that we went to. Extremely clean, with wi-fi (for a nominal amount per day) and laundry... More

I've been to Bhutan several times as an aide to an NGO, and I've always asked to be housed at Yeedzin Guest House. While Thimphu is not a very big capital, the guest house is near the clocktower square, the national textiles museum, the market, and great dining establishments ranging from high-end Bhutanese fare, Nepalese, Indian, and Thai. The rooms... More

at Yeedzin you feel realy at home if you stay just for a day, for a week or longer. the staff is not just friendly, but extremly helpful. Ray, the manager goes out of his way to make your stay as confortable as possible. I was staying some five nights and departure was a hard affair just like from your... More
