The hotel is located right on the market, but quiet. Good rooms, good heating and a nicely heated restaurant. Morning breakfast in the sun was amazing. Staff is courteous. We got a corner room with 2 walls of glass. Great sun through the day.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, our first two nights in the country, then another night later in our trip. The facility is centrally located and much of Thimphu is in easy walking distance. It was nice to be able to walk from the hotel to see some of the town. The staff was helpful, and willing to help.... More

I stayed in this hotel for a week, after the construction noise really got me out of the first hotel that was booked for me. I didn't want to change my central location, so this was really quite obvious choice. It turned out much better experience than I had hoped for and I kind of regretted not moving there earlier.... This was a very clean hotel with lovely staff and very comfortable beds. The shower was nice and hot, there was a bathtub (always a treat in Asia!) and a great central location close to many shops. I had only two complaints- one is that in the restaurant, they did not mention before hand if something would be an extra... More

The hotel looks good and is in a central location but the biggest problem is noise. The traffic dies down at night, but that's when the dogs start howling and fighting! None of the windows in my large corner room shut properly , so there was no real way to block out the noise. At one stage , I counted... More

The hotel is located in a good central place. However, being centrally located, noise does come through to the rooms from the street level, including dogs barking during the night. Take ear plugs with you and you'll have a really good sleep as the beds are very comfy and lovely cotton sheets you just sink into. The room was certainly... More

Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. Location is good, in the center, walking distance from the shops. The restaurant offers alternatives to the spicy bhutanese food, with menu a la carte, but not all the time. Wifi Internet available in the room, with reasonable signal quality. Rooms with cable TV. However, this hotel has a very serious problem: noise. All... More

Lovely hotel in the middle of downtown Thimphu. Staff were extremely friendly and obliging, rooms were large with beautiful views of the downtown core. Very clean as well.Only disadvantage is no lift.

The staff were grumpy initially, which was perhaps due to problems of communication. The rooms were quite comfortable, neat and spacious. though the nights were constantly pierced by the loud barking of street dogs. The food was just OK, but then being a vegetarian I always feel short-changed! I would recommend this hotel to all my friends because it is... More
