My family and I stayed here for two nights before we went on our trek. The hotel rooms were nice with heaters which we could use to warm up our room. The bathrooms were also clean and nice to use. Something particularly nice about hotel was the restaurant, since my family is vegetarian, our guide spoke with the restaurant and... More

The Pedling hotel is a short walk from most of Thimphu's attractions. The lobby has good wifi and some rooms also have WiFi, depending on how close to the wireless router they are. The staff were friendly and helpful and I stayed here twice during my visit, who I made me really appreciate this place. The food is good (omelettes... More

The hotel is centrally located in Thimpu. Breakfast selection is limited. Hot water for shower is limited. Once it runs out, it will take at least 30 minutes to get hot water again. All 3 of us in the group went for a 1.5 hour relaxing massage at the spa in the basement. Didn't feel relaxed at all! The masseuses... More

This is an average hotel located right in the heart of the capital city. It's a bit old, and the floors are rather creaky. The rooms are large and comfortable with portable heaters provided for the chilly nights. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The guest rooms can get rather noisy, especially if you are in the back. The... More

I stayed at the Pedling at the end of February. This is a very good hotel in the city centre The service is excellent and all the employees are pleasant and friendly, although they lack much knowledge of local attractions. The rooms are clean, heated and the restaurant serves very good food at reasonable rates. The only drawbacks were the... More

We had arranged a trip to Bhutan in Dec 2014 for 7 days. It was beautiful, we were first arranged accommodation in Pedling in Thimphu, Thinphu is the busiest city you will come across in Bhutan. The hotel has pretty good food and esp. the people are really nice Very polite and their behavior and culture melts your heart. Would... More

Hotel has spacious clean rooms with space heaters. The staff were helpful and quite personable. The location is in the center of the city, so one can easily explore the area. The restaurant has a nice menu with several choices of beer and other spirits. The servers and cooks are outgoing, polite and pleasant. We found the wifi to be... More

The hotel faces a little plaza where 3 streets meet, across the street was the Swiss Bakery (never opened) the open spaces are car parks all day and at night Dog City. One block down and to the left is the central intersection for the town. If you get a room in the back say 308 it opens on to... More

Located in the heart of the shopping areas of Thimphu, it gives us the mobility to roam around on foot. Rooms are decent and clean, except for the noise that we experienced mostly around 6am. We figured that the commotion probably came from the ground level where the breakfast hall is. Wifi connection are comparatively good than other cities we... More

Location is its best appeal, free wifi, spacious room, clean, room heater, city attractions is all within walking distance and the hotel is within the city center yet away from the main road. The only negative point is, dogs noices at night can be a nuisance. Try to choose room facing the front to reduce noises.
