Location is its best appeal, free wifi, spacious room, clean, room heater, city attractions is all within walking distance and the hotel is within the city center yet away from the main road. The only negative point is, dogs noices at night can be a nuisance. Try to choose room facing the front to reduce noises.

Bhutan has very basic accommodation when compared to international standards, so please don't be to disappointed. It is worth a little sacrifice to see bhutan. This hotel, from what I understand, is regarded as one of the best in Bhutan. Based on international standards I would give it a 2-3 star rate. We stayed second floor. Very basic in room.... More

this was our first hotel in Bhutan and we did not expect too much, so were quite pleasantly suprised. It is a medium sized, centrally located hotel with reasonable rooms and restaurant. We found parts rather cold but that wasn't a big problem. This was very popular with influential locals ( Minister of Agriculture held a function there; and a... More

Clean and functional is about what you should expect at a 3 star hotel. Good tasty food with the standard buffet cuisine. Good location for shopping and access to the Swiss Bakery next door. The perennial problem of cold dogs barking all night is present here

This is a very comfortable hotel situated in an excellent location. Last time I was in Bhutan the hotel definitely wasn't as good as this one so I was pleasantly surprised. Keeping expectations in check also helped but honestly speaking there is not much to complain. It came part of the package and for the price we paid this was... More

This was the nicest hotel room we had during our stay in Bhutan. It was large, comfortable and had good food. The downside was that it was quite noisy due to the barking dogs all night long. We had a room towards the back which seemed to be a it quieter than the rooms facing the street. It was more... More

We stayed here two nights at the beginning of our two week trip and one night on our way back. Decent sized rooms, lots of hot water, attentive staff who accommodated our spontaneous request to use their conference room. Their food is pretty good for Bhutan with made to order eggs at breakfast. We were on the first floor of... More

I stayed here with my friend for two night during our tour in Bhutan. We had originally asked for another hotel, but that was not available, so this was the next option available to us. The room was nicely decorated with windows that open to look out on Thimphu. The room was very clean, however, the shower's water pressure left... More

This is the capital city, interesting in its own right. The hotel is centrally located in a noisy square. As in all of this beautiful country, the people are extremely interesting. The hotel has a small dining room and a smaller bar. Buffet meals are served which are fresh and tasty but by no means are they culinary masterpieces. There is simple,... More
