We stayed here on our first night in Bhutan and really had no idea what to expect...... The location is great for the middle of town - in fact it's almost across the road from the National Football stadium (We stayed the night Bhutan surprisingly beat Sri Lanka !!). Staff are very friendly and efficient - the rooms are very... More

This is an attractive place across from the stadium where you can watch people doing archery or playing darts. The room is attractive and well furnished and the bathroom is better than basic, which is all you generally get when staying in three star hotels here. There is even a tv and wifi. We were here twice and both times... More

Fairly decent food, rooms are comfortable, though not huge, service is decent. Rooms had heating. Bathroom had a bathtub. Initially the Indian food served was not good, but on complaining, the local food served was fantastic.

Perfect in every way.. Great location right in the City center. Rooms and service was excellent. Amazing view of the archery & football ground. Room Heater was available in both room and bathroom. 24 hrs hot water is available. We had yummy parathas for breakfast. Wifi works well. Local market , shops and variety of restaurants are easily accessible. If... More

A comfortable hotel with nice and clean rooms, one of the better we have stayed during our Bhutan trip (with Wifi and TV). The atmosphere is a bit "clean" though: awaiting front office staff and uninterested restaurant staff. Nice view on the archery grounds (interesting to watch when competition is going on) and ten minutes walk to market, centre of... More

An ok Hotel, very convenient. I looked out on shrubland where I counted 21 dogs one morning, they don't bother me at all I just feel sorry for them. Food (as I was to find out in my travels) was very typical of Bhutan cuisine. Chilli cheese, potatoes in cheese, noodles, steamed vegetables, chicken and pork, which was actually mostly... More

We were four people traveling and there is this weird concept in Bhutan where they don't want to accommodate 3-4 people in a suite as well. The extra bed is only for a child this just doesnt make sense. The hotel was good and clean, centrally located and staff was polite and helpful, even though the service was a little... More

In the heart of Thimpu with lots of character. Well worth the stay. I read a review that was negative because of dogs barking at night. Are you kidding? How is that the hotel's fault? Yes, the dogs bark at night -- here and in every Buddhist country in the world. Bring ear plugs as all of the guide books... More
