“Central and good-value hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and management”

We had a really good experience at Tourist Hotel, while in Kampala in Dec 2010. The hotel is very centrally located, rooms are good-value, it is clean, free wifi in the restaurant and good food. However, best of all was the very friendly and helpful staff with Mr. Manoj being the perfect host. / Paula & Fredrik, Sweden.

This is a perfectly adequate place to stay in Kampala, staff are friendly and rooms are clean (a fan would have been nice for the price, my only quibble). Ask for a quiet room away from the market.
