This hotel is located near the Stanbic Bank and Kakumatt, downtown Kampala. The price is reasonnable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite nice and well equipped, but many cockroaches are to be met... No mosquito nets provided. The breakfast is included and generous.

I stayed at the Shangri La for several weeks as a single woman travelling to Kampala for work. The hotel has a beautiful garden and is attached to the kampala sports club, which offers a pool and tennis courts. Internet is free in the rooms (ask for a cable).
