My family was working on an adoption in Kampala and we had to stay a lot longer than planned. The staff was exceptional in assisting us with our needs and helping with off site purchases. While the old section is a great value, the newer rooms have large areas and great views. It is worth every dollar you pay!! The... More

Stayed for 5th time. First time since it changed of owner and name. Well it´s bigger and more modern which tends to lose its charm compared to previous era as Mamba Point. Staff remained and is really nice and it´s a great location. My big problem was the lack in transparency as they charge 4% of your bill without prior... More

We spent 10 nights in February. Visiting various projects around Kampala and it was always good to come back to relax and knowing there was a meal on site. When we arrived at midday our rooms weren't ready but we had said we wouldn't be there until 1pm. However we were offered a free lunch without asking I thought this was... More

We spent one night here both at the beginning and end of our safari. Our trip was booked through Kiganda at AAB Tours & Travel (can't say enough good things about them, had the most perfect holiday. Special thanks to our driver/guide, Richard, you made our holiday!). I would choose this place to stay if I go to Kampala again... More

I spent one night here whilst in town for a work trip. This hotel is a little oasis of calm. I was in a ground floor room in the 'original wing', just a few steps from the pool and looking on to the garden. The room isn't huge, but has been freshly repainted and nicely appointed, with a large desk,... More

I would probably rate this hotel as "average" until April as they are undergoing some refurbishment and expansion works which slightly impacted on my stay. Other than that, internet is good, staff very attentive, and a lovely quiet location to boot. Reasonably value and with the upgrade the hotel will I'm sure be even better.

I have stayed here now 3 times. I work for an NGO that is down the street, so the location is great. It's not fancy, but it is very clean and comfortable and not terribly expensive. Rooms are plain, but better than OK. Feeling of security (when I arrived late at night this visit the guard greeted us with a... More

Three of us shared a room for $170 a night, which included breakfast and wi-fi. The room was unusually spacious with a reasonably comfortable king sized bed, a twin bed, two desks, 3 large closets and a large modern bathroom. It was simply but tastefully decorated, bright, clean, and quiet. The water was hot, the water pressure decent, the wi-fi... More

Working in Kampala recently, MP was recommended. Arriving at 5AM was no problem and we were taken to well appointed, spacious and functional rooms. There is decent size pool, a very small gym and breakfast is taken in the adjoining Italian restaurant and is at best, average. The only down sides are small points, it is sometimes hard to find... This is a great little guesthouse for a business trip or to use as a base in Kampala. Set up on a hillside away from the noise and pollution of the city, it is quiet and peaceful. The plus points are that it has friendly staff, strong internet signal, a lovely pool in a quiet garden and spotlessly clean rooms... More
