I have stayed at Etana (Bukoto) a few times. It's fine but nothing great. Clean but tiny rooms, no restaurant, TV with three channels, very loud and doors that only occasionally lock. Unfortunately, the last time I stayed at Etan it went horribly and I will never stay there again, nor would I recommend anyone stay there. I checked in... More

I stayed at Etana Motel for 2 weeks on a work trip to Kampala. I should mention - there are 2 Etana Motels owned by Bruno - one is in Bukoto (city centre) and one is in Mengo - so on 2 different sides of the city. The photographs on this page are actually of both the motels. I stayed... More

This is a budget motel but has much to offer. It is safe and clean, there is hot water, wifi and excellent staff, they serve alcohol and cold drinks and it is great value at $30 per night! The motel is a set in a quiet oasis in a gated compound about 40 minutes walk from the city centre in... More

Stayed at Etana for a week. What you see on the photos is what you get. The staff is friendly and the accommodation affordable and very clean. The rooms can lock and its the perfect stay for people that is looking for quality affordable accommodation in kampala. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Kampala.

Small , Cozy, and in a nice location - about 15 - 20 mins into town. Lots of beautiful Hill side scenery to enjoy. Was here for a business Trip and it's such an ideal place for one with business motives. I wouldn't recommend it for leisure, however if couples / singles need a place to crash as they go... More

Nice, clean option in the suburbs of Kampala. Rooms are as seen on the website and have satellite TV. There are a selection of good restaurants about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. ATM available in the country club which is a further couple of mins up the road. Pick-up to/from Entebbe is $30.

The service was excellent and the staff are helpful, i was offered free cab service from and to the airport. The cleanliness is superb, rooms are cleaned every morning by the cleaning staff, the motel is also located only 20 minutes from the city centre. Its also suitable for people travelling in groups en route to camping and those visiting... More

A perfect place to stay if you are travelling around Kampala, especially in its sub-urban area! The room looks EXACTLY as it shows on the website and the staff, together with the owner Bruno, were really nice and helpful! The breakfast was simple and refreshing, and the whole motel is tidy and clean. The beds are double and each room... More

The room has exquisite finishes, sliding glass doors covered with nice curtains, 14 inch flat screen tv with satellite connection, double bed, wardrobe, vanity table with mirror and stool, washroom with clean toilet and hot water shower all for $30 a night. There is no fridge in the room but they can chill/store your edibles on request. The staff was... More
