This is a business trip for a non-profit organization so I am used to average hotel accommodation. However, when I arrived at the hotel and got inside my room, I realized it was an above average hotel. My room is very spacious, with a walk-in closet, and big bathroom. The bathroom comes with 2 sinks, a bathtub and a shower... More

My advice is to book early for Kampala to avoid the disappointment of ending up at this place. It is dated, tired and the staff are lacklustre in their approach to a problem. I was visiting with a trade delegation and three of us had to be located at this hotel for a night. When we arrived we were told... More

Considering the hotel's location in downtown Kampala, it's probably one of the better hotels in the area. The staff are very friendly and its position next to the golf course is lovely with great views from the restaurants and bars and some of the rooms. However, I had a street facing room so didn't get to enjoy the lovely view... More

If you get a golf course facing room, at dawn and dusk, you would be forgiven to think you were in a jungle lodge. On the other side of the all, you will be clearly reminded that you are in a busy city. So, do what you can to get a golf course facing room! Otherwise, a very decent hotel,... More

I've stayed several times at Golf Course and have always been satisfied with my room, the hotel facilities and my stay in general. The Golf Course price is very good when compared to say the Serena (a 5 star hotel) which makes sense for many. Rooms here are large, with large bathrooms. The bathrooms could use an update. Its an... More

The hotel is by far in the best location in kampala in terms of convenience. It has a mall attached to it (garden city). It is also close to the Nakumatt supermarket. The hotel staff is friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is decent and internet works well most of the time. Compared to Metropole hotel (which is also okay)... More

The hotel is adjacent to a golf course, which guarantees plenty of green view on the back side. It is located on a busy road, but traffic is not an issue as far as noise is concerned. Rooms are large, clean. The only problem I had with mine is that there was a treadmill just outside of my room, in... More

Rooms are spacious and neat. Restaurant is well below average. Service is average. Arranged an airport pick up but was not on the list of passengers to be collected so luckily saw the hotel driver with a sign and got a lift. Airport pickup price is costly if you are a single passenger. Have stayed here before and guess will... More

The hotel is dated and needs to be renovated. However given that it is a hotel in Uganda the expectations differ. This isn't 4 star European standards! Pros - Good sized rooms - Clean bedding - Attentive house keeping - Good customer service - Good location Cons - Ok breakfast - Expensive - Renovation required - Not 4* standard -... More
