There was no one else in the place and I did not feel safe. The TV didn't work and even when I asked for it to be fixed it was not. The internet didn't work in the rooms despite reassurances. The manager did not show up to address my concerns until after my first night there, at which point I... More

I just came back from Togo a week ago, and as usual, l'Equateur didn't disappoint. This was my 3rd time staying there in 2 years and I would not consider staying anywhere else whenever I find myself in Lomé. It is centrally located and on a calm street, yet close to the main road bordering the ocean, and very affordable.... More

I stayed with my husband in the hotel for 6 nights(10th -16th March 2013) and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very easy to locate, virtually all moto riders and cab drivers know the place. Its located in a safe, quiet and central place. There are good and cheap restuarants around if you do not want to eat at their restuarant.... More

We stayed here when traveling from Ghana to Benin and stayed for one night. The location is good and the neighborhood was calm. The service was good and the personnel happy to try help us in English, though with some little French it worked out well. There is a top-floor restaurant/bar which was very cozy and original with 360 view... More

We stayed here two nights in their cheapest room at 18,000. They have a wide range of rooms, mostly in the 19-25,000 range with a couple going up to 50,000. We peeked into a couple rooms and although they all differ in size and shape, we felt our room was essentially just as nice as most of the other ones.... More

At Hotel Equateur where we stayed for three days recently, we were provided a room with a nice view of the sea. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with good beds. There was internet accessibility too in the room. The area is calm and quiet and hence we had no problem in sleeping there at nights. The bathroom was... More

This is a nice place and good value. The rooms are large and clean and looked just like the photos on the hotel website. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly with pretty good English. There is a nice (but small) rooftop bar/ restaurant. It's on a quiet street; the only downside is that most mototaxi drivers don't... More
