The highlight of this hotel is the pool, breakfast buffet is limited, very basic. The choice of food in the restaurant is limited as well. The Bar in the lobby is below average. Room service is prompt and the staff are very friendly and patient regardless of the language barrier(Serge).

Very friendly staff. I was used to the Mercure hotel which closed, staff in Eda Oba is more friendly than the ones in Mercure. Rooms are a little bit old fashion, but very clean. Food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast is getting a little bit boring after a week. There was still a lot of building activity in... More

This hotel seemed clean and safe which is saying a lot in Togo. They have an on-site restaurant and small bar which helps when you are tired. Also breakfast is included which is the same every morning but you can choose differently to mix it up. I would recommend you tip early and often for best service. Those of us... More

Hotel Eda Oba was good for the business trip that I had. They had friendly English speaking staff who helped me with my lack of efficiency in communicating in French. The Internet was much better than what I had in other hotels in Lome. At first I was frustrated by the WiFi, but then I switched to the wired connection... More

I agree with those who say the service was friendly and fast. It is. Kudos to the workers here. However, management and owners should do better. AGain, this is an expensive business hotel in a modern capital. No reason to be racist and say "This is Africa." No, I don't accept that. Business is business. What's nice: 1- Location, along... I liked the welcoming and checking in was fast. The gym is awesome and the spa is spectacular. I didn't expect it to work.had a great workout and a swim after a long while. Breakfast wasn't as good but still fair enough. A good hotel for business trip but not vacation. Didn't find the bedding very comfortable but rooms were... More

Eda Oba was nice, most of my days was spent in a conference room so i did not have much time to fully enjoy the facility but my highlights were: 1. Swimming Pool, this was my favorite place to hangout, after sitting in a room most of the day it was amazing being in that cold water for night swimming,... More

I chose Eda Oba for its advertised gym with a treadmill, which I needed to continue physical therapy exercises. Despite being told by reception that there was a treadmill, the gym has no functioning cardio equipment. Four days in a row the hotel staff swore the treadmill was being repaired and would be delivered 'tomorrow'. The hotel has a number... More

This is a friendly hotel that really tries to be hospitable. HOWEVER, the beds are the hardest on the planet. We were sure that the beds only had box springs on them. After three nights, I would wake up in the middle of the night because I had developed bruises on my hips from sleeping on too hard of a... More

This Hotel is not going to compare to western standards real well, but really is a perfectly fine hotel. The rate was good for us, the rooms were clean and we always felt safe. The restaurant was again not great, but always filled us up, never got us sick. The pool is nice, and the internet was solid. The only... More
