We stayed in Foresters Arms during our stay in Swaziland. A cozy place with a friendly English caretaker, who showed us some interesting things to do in Swaziland. Lovely food (loved the sandwiches and dinner !). Large and comfy rooms, including a stove for cold rainy days. We were offered a 6-course dinner which was impressive and plentifull. more

What a wonderful surprise when we arrived at Forresters Arms. The hotel has relatively a lot of rooms, compared to the B&B's we stayed in before we came here, but you immediately feel at home. The restaurant, terrace and bar gave us the feeling of staying over in the Swiss Alpes. We had a comfortable room, not very big, but... more

Stayed for a couple of days recently - most of the roads in Swaziland are pretty good but the road from Malkerns to Foresters Arms is a bit bumpy on the last section. Stayed in both the garden rooms and those with the view of the pool. Both rooms had obviously been revamped quite recently, but the pool view rooms... more

We stayed 2 nights at Foresters Arms in route from JNB to Phinda game reserve in KwaZulu Natal. It was a lovely stopping point. It is a bit out of the way, but since the tariff includes breakfast and dinner that was not as big a negative as it could be. Breakfasts were quite good and dinner was also good... more

My wife and I stayed here for one night traveling from Kruger National Park enroute to the town of Dundee in Natal and a SA battlefield tour for me. We found this hotel on the Internet and had booked a room well in advance. I got the impression from the hotel web site ahead of time that the rooms would... more

Having travelled from Pretoria and got delayed at the border crossing, we were extremely glad of the good signposts in the dark. We were late for dinner, but still received a beautiful dinner in our room. Lovely large room with an open fire, old but perfectly functional bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, somewhere we will definitely return to. more

We stayed for one night at this hotel as part of a tour with Jules Verne. The hotel is in an amazing setting with lovely views - out in the countryside. The evening meal was good - given a menu to choose from which is always nicer than buffet style. The food was imaginative and well presented. more

We stayed for three nights en route to Kruger Park and particularly enjoyed calm, comfort and cuisine of the Foresters Arms. Bedrooms are all ground floor, comfortable and clean. They have a small terrace facing the garden. A small swimming pool with clean and - being April - quite fresh water is nice for a morning swim before breakfast which... more

Foresters Arms is a good place to stop when transiting accross Swaziland. It is some 25km in the mountains out of Mbabane. The hotel has nothing of high luxury, but is still very comfortable, nice decoration. Our room was spacious and clean, giving onto the gardens, the swimming pool, with green mountains in the background. Staff is friendly and helpful.... more

We stayed over at the Foresters Arms on a roundtrip of South Africa and Swaziland. Within Swaziland choice of hotels is limited and the Foresters Arms ranks among the best. The hotel is definitely not a bad address but offers nothing special to the tourists. We had a small, tidy and clean room but found the bathroom a bit out... more
