From the moment you arrive to the disappointment of having to leave this is an experience we will never forget. The whole place makes you feel special and this starts from the delightful Carol who welcomes you and looks after you in a quiet unassuming manner that reflects the pleasure of being in such a beautiful destination. The room was... More

We spent one night at Ematjeni while traveling from Kruger to KwaZulu-Natal. The rooms are clean and spacious. The guesthouse is located in a residential area above the city, so having your own transportation is essential (there are no restaurants within walking distance either). We had a hearty breakfast while enjoying the beautiful views. Wifi is available, but costs R50... More

We have just arrived home from a spectacular stay at Ematjeni. We were completely satisfied with everything; from the wonderful staff, to the beautiful bedrooms, and very tasty breakfasts. Everything was of the highest quality, and the view was too die for; you can loose track of time getting lost in the view! I would highly recommend this guest house.... More

Everything about this hotel is excellent. Top quality rooms, breath-taking mountain views, kind and professional staff, and great food. As another reviewer said, it's more of a boutique hotel than a B&B. If you need a full restaurant, this place doesn't have it, but it doesn't matter because the individually crafted meals are superb. Both breakfast and dinner were great.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in October. The room was better described as a suite with a bedroom and separate lounge area. The fit-out was good quality and the views of the amazing garden, valley and hills beyond from the windows and balcony were great. Ivy and Fuji made us feel very welcome and nothing was... More

What can I say about this guest house, other then WOW!!! Amazing place, Amazing rooms, Amazing service, Amazing food.. I have been telling friends about this place, it is more a small boutique hotel, then a traditional B&B. The photos of this place, don't even come close to how incredible it is. From the moment you drive up the drive... More

Our first trip to Swaziland - why did we leave it so ruddy long???? The standard set by Ematjeni is exemplary. If it's possible to place a 5-star hotel on the hill, they've pulled it off. With provided easy-to-follow instructions, the steep entrance track is easily negotiated to reveal a palace on the hillside. The new extension to the accommodation... More

The best place to stay in Swaziland. Rooms are spacious and well furnished...dinners cooked by Ivy are very tasty. The views from the rooms are stunning. 5 minutes from "downtown" Mbabane. Try dinner also at Casa Mia, the Italian Consulate. The owners can set it up for you. There are several dogs and five or six cats...a nice touch...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this astounding B&B for one night only. Everything was excellent. We were welcomed in the main area with coffee and a delicious cake, which was a great touch. The room was akin to a room in a five-star hotel. Breakfast was super. The family running the B&B were very friendly; we were treated like... More
