The German Guesthouse is a great place to relax in Khartoum. It’s a place to feel at home, where Norbert and his staff are welcoming you the way you want. The rooms are big and clean, there is a good WIFI connection and a dip in the swimming pool is great to relax. We enjoyed the food very much. If... More

An oasis in Khartoum. Big clean rooms, quiet for sleeping, good food and drinks, wifi always working.A lovely swimming-pool and a nice terrace to relax. Staff are very very friendly and helpful. Safe parking for the car. The best place after travelling for months through hectic Africa.

Thursday nights in Khartoum are like Friday nights in non-Muslim countries. That's why it's TGIT at the German Guest House in Khartoum soon to be renamed International Guest House. Norbert, the owner and staff were very helpful during our four night stay. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and the swimming pool is a good way to cool down... More

We were promised that this was an 'oasis' in Khartoum. If you want my advice then please look very carefully for other options unless you are a friend of the owner. If you are a friend of his then you will be made most welcome and no doubt he will party with you, but if you are simply a guest... More

This hotel is the most overvalued and overpriced hotel I ever been in my entire life. Make sure you don't have any expectations of any sort because most likely you will be disappointed. The new owner is new to this business and he obviously doesn't care about his customer's well-being. Every details of the rooms show a total lack of... More

I have visited this place few times while on a business trip in Sudan in February 2014. This is a very nice place that can offer you relaxed moment in a great atmosphere and very nice music. It is located few minutes drive from the airport and the prices are very reasonable. The owner of the place is a very... More

Great hotel to stay in while in Khartoum. Very close to the city center and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and understanding. Food at the hotel restaurant is also really good and there is free WiFi. Loved the tilapia and fries. I also had a great time at the hotel's fitness center which has a great coach. Would definitely... More

I stayed here for three nights in April. One of my best stays in Africa. GGH makes it easy. They were extremely prompt in responding to our questions, and my travel buddy and I were a bit hesitant to venture into Sudan. We had tons of questions, about how to get to Khartoum from the Ethiopian border, registration, money changing,... More
