June 2014 was the second time that I stayed here. I was there last year and some of the same people are still working there. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. I made friends there and some of them recommended other places to stay throughout the country. I believe the food is a bit pricey. The rooms are nice and... More

Very clean, very quiet (at least the room I had, on the road behind the main road), very secure. Helpful, pleasant staff. The location isn't lovely, but it's halfway between Point des Almadies and downtown, so practical. Good food, though a bit expensive.

the first impression is the rooms which are huge, they have a suites instead of rooms and they are very clean and the staff is very gentle. the food was very limited and not that good but for a hotel it was very worth the price I paid and at the reception they can ask you for a taxi to... More

I stayed in this hotel for about ten days total and was impressed with the front desk service [Aby, Nafy, and Pape]. Thiaw was incredibly helpful with negotiating taxi prices and just generally making my stay pleasurable and the manager Diof [sp] was so accommodating, he would make sure I always knew where I was going when I left. The... More

The hotel is clean with air conditioning and I had a suite room that included a lounge area which is great when on business BUT the service is terrible and towels are like gold (bring your own). The dining room menu is limited (little offered is actually available), the prices are exorbitant with a can of coke $4 (avoid eating... More

Was introduced to Residence Mamoune by the West Arica Rural Foundation who have an a special rate there. Was in Dakar to sign an MOU with WARF and spent one night there because the hotel was fully booked for the rest of the week. Was given a suite at the price of a standard. Stay there every time I visit... More

Best hotel stayed while in Dakar so far. The facilities are good, clean rooms, good room service, helpful staff and good enough internet. The hotel is about 10-15min walk to the Citydia supermarket, and 2 mins near some smaller supermarkets /shops where you could get just about anything. For longer stay, the residences are perfect and comfortable with a working... More

My stay at Mamoune was superb! I was there for 1 week on business and loved every minute of it. The room was spacious and clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast is a little bit sparse, but you could order additional items like omelet which was all included in the price of the accommodation. The best thing about... More

The Residences Mamoune was a reasonable hotel, located some distance from the city and about halfway between the airport and the city. It was clean and tidy, with friendly staff. The breakfast was very basic: coffee, yoghurt and bread. My first room didn't have hot water, but the next night I was moved to an apartment in the residences. The... More
