I thought the hotel, location, staff. food, service were all fab. The only thing that let the hotel down was kitchen rubbish being dumped on the beach. it's a beautiful location isn't there another place to dump the rubbish?

I do a fare amount of traveling around the World including all over Africa. I stay at places of various quality and prices. However I have never come across such hotel where every aspect of the experience, with the exception of it's ideal location, was so bad. Although most of the staff are friendly and smiling, unfortunately this is where... More

I spent 3 days here at a conference. The room was huge and dark, with orange curtains and lighting that gave everything an odd ambience. The view of the Atlantic was stunning, and the flowers and landscaping of the property is lovely. But the buildings appear to be crumbling. Restrooms had no soap, towels or hand dryers. Buffet lunch was... More

I was here sometime last year and enjoyed my stay.. Firstly, I would like to get some facts straight with anyone who wants to visit it. Breakfast: the breakfast buffet is very expensive therefore not suitable for a light eater.. I on the other hand am a heavy eater so I knock myself out with their pancakes (on of the... More

Location, location, location. This property sits on the most western point of Africa. Stunning views of the Atlantic. That's where my compliments end. One ATM in lobby: not functioning. Breakfast Buffett: over priced and terrible selection. I drank coffee out of a soup bowl. Airport lounges have more food than this. Hotel room is poorly appointed. Flickering fluorescent lights in... Wait til 2014 to think about trying its hotel. Showers were freezing cold water, mosquito nets had holes size of quarters in them, saw multiple hookers leaving the hotel in the mornings. There were signs that say the Sheraton is coming there in 2014. Hope they do a major overhaul. Apron checkout they over charged me on my credit card... More

OK, lots of poor reviews, but it is far from all bad. Yes, the rooms are oh so basic without all the mod cons. However, they were clean, mosquito nets, working tv, with a good hot shower. This was all I needed for a work conference held here. The location is great, right on the sea with a good little... More

I stayed here as there was a meeting I participated. If I can choose, anywhere I will choose a different place. It is overpriced. Although the lobby and common areas look great, the room is less than a two-star hotel. There was not an refrigerator, and my colleague had to ask one. I did not. TV remote did not work.... More

What a lovely, lovely piece of property, marred by a run-down, decrepit hotel. We arrived with no one to greet us for bags and unpleasant disposition of hotel staff at desk (mostly the manager, later I interacted with three other front desk personnel who were very helpful and friendly, as most Senegalese are). Our room was small and smelly with... More

I frankly have difficulties understanding the other reviews. I just spent one week in this hotel and found it pretty good. The place has just been refurbished, the rooms are clean and are equipped with TV and a small fridge. The meeting room were really convenient for our meeting. The swimming pool and the beach were clean. The restaurant where... More
