Just getting to the Hotel as there is no signage is a mission, on arrival the car park is not fully secure. On arrival the booking was present and the staff friendly, but no luggage assistance offered or any explanation as to services in the hotel - very poor for a 4* hotel. Room was nice and comfortable, but there... More

I stayed in the hotel for a week for a workshop, and if I were to make a choice I would come back here because of the good lunches on the shady hotel roof terrace, and the possibility to eat fish nearby on the ocean side, there being a supermarket within 100 meters distance, ATM at walking distance and a... I stayed in this hotel recently for a work trip and was very pleasantly surprised. One of the first big advantages was that it was an easy drive from the airport - only 10-15 minutes. Then, what a pleasure to find a perfectly reasonable room, relatively spacious, with a comfortable, clean bathroom - including a plush bathrobe and big towels.... More

The room lighting isn't the best but the room is clean, and effort is made to keep amenities up to date - even if it looks a little tired. The wifi I had in my room was perfect - strong signal and constant. Water temperature fluctuated a bit but there was plenty of pressure; towels weren't in overly large supply... More

Its clean and beds are comfortable, CNN available. About 10 minutes from the airport - they offer an airport shuttle. Didn't make much of the internet though. Bathrooms could use some maintenance. Friendly staff and great food. Also located in a good area where a few restaurants and cafe's are located. City dia supermarket is also 2 minutes walk from... More

This review is based on spending 6 nights over a 4 month period. Plusses - Close to airport, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, roof terrace/bar, menu decent but nothing special, pool is good, comfortable bed, Cons - internet VERY unreliabe (2 stays had zero connectivity), slow service - especially if you want a beer in the evening on the roof bar,... We use the Fleur de Lys as a stopover hotel in Dakar. It is conveniently located close to our offices and the airport; offering wifi and shuttle bus facilities. The rooms and toilets are spacious but need some refurbishing. The rooftop breakfast provides nice views of Almadies area.

This property is in the Almadies area of Dakar and a 15 minute walk from the new US Embassy. It is a 34 room boutique property. Pluses: Great, friendly staff, that is most helpful Rate is good and comes with complimentary breakfast Roof top lounge area (covered) is a real plus. Breakfast is served there and other meals can optionally... More

I certainly can not rave about any aspect of our one week stay at the Fleur de Lys, nor can I complain about anything overall. Could use better bed pillows and the rooms are "compact", but clean, comfortable, good wi-fi and adequate facilities. Rooftop bar/restaurant/breakfast a plus. Walking distance to many nice restaurants, the ocean, and the airport. Close your... More

If you need to stay in Almadies, this hotel is a nice enough place. It is about a 20-25 minute walk from the Point des Almadies and a 5-10 minute walk from the Virage Mamelles. The room was fine, although the pillows were a bit lumpy. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport, which is convenient. Breakfast was... More
